Kratos quote regarding Helio's Shield, "I found another object from my past in Valhalla... a shield once owned by the sun god, Helios. It is trampled and useless now, a bitter reminder of my reckless actions in the time I was driven only by misguided anger." something that bothers me about how they treated greek era kratos is they make it out that kratos was pure evil, they don’t mention how kratos was literally going to spare helios until he attacked and tried to trick kratos into killing himself
You know in some ways Zeus was the one that caused Kratos to become what he is. If you think about it a lot of the stuff that Zeus was worried about the prophecy coming true did happen, but only by his own actions, the other gods of Olympus just happened to be in the way of this one Spartans rage against his old man. The other point to this argument is that Ares had known about the prophecy from the very beginning and he realized that Kratos was the one to fulfill it in the end regardless if he broke free from his oath or not.
lets be honest...........................all of this could have been avoided if the Gods wasnt manipulative. Lets see: ares: tricking kratos into killing his family Zeus: killing kratos, not refusing to take away kratos's nightmares, killing all of sparta, killing kratos's mother Athena: making false promises to free kratos Thanatos: killing deimos Literally every God could have avoided their deaths if they didnt get in kratos's way and just freaking free the man from his nightmares

The new writers don't have any respect for the old writers
Zeus, Ares and Thanatos are the ones he mainly had a vendetta against. Everyone else just got in his way.
Hades in a way as Kratos did kill his wife in chains of olympus.
And Persephone coerced him to leave his daughter to save the world.
And Alecto.
Tyr's dry stoic sarcasm is an excellent addition
An A grade prick Helios was a really nice addition to this DLC lmao.
Helios vs Heimdall in a war of words would be a greater battle than Ragnarok
4:02 that "yes" was so soft
The Olympian gods had it coming tbh, especially Zeus and Ares
Isn’t that the sun shield from chains of Olympus

Helios was just in his way. If he had any humility and respect, he would’ve stayed out of Kratos’ way.
Zeus was his enemy.
Hellos tried to trick kratos into killing himself by lying to him. Kratos had a right to kill him.
I WANNA SEE SEEREAX PLAY THIS SO BAD!!! 🥺
