  • Kieron and Claire make a great impression on ALL Dragons with their unusual flavours of homemade Jams, Chutneys and Relishes. They are seeking an investment of €40,000 in return for a 10% equity in Moran's for expansion and marketing.
An international sensation, Dragon's Den features entrepreneurs pitching for investment in the Den from our Dragons, five venture capitalists willing to invest their own money in exchange for equity.

Her knowing her numbers so well elevates this pitch amongst the best pitches featured on all Shark Tank shows. Furthermore, the Dragon's questions along with the entrepreneur's replies was one of the best extended examination segments I've seen in over 15yrs. watching these types of shows! This is a great study for those on their way to the Den.

Wish I had just read this and said 'what he said" before my comment as you put what I couldn't quite do into words.
      For that I thank you.

Probably the most involved and interesting pitches I've seen on any of the dragons den or shark tanks ever.
They came across as a couple you could work with and sounds like their jams and chutneys are gorgeous.

I do feel like, the others go out, with their reasons, and then Gavin invests is something we see alot in the Irish Den

This is what I feel, for 100% handmade stuff without machinery and yet having just 16% net profit exclusive of Debt snd the distributorship causing 30% loss makes this is a not so investable business

Am I the only one who wouldn't want "adventurous" jams?

somehow people in Ireland are much more grounded with reality and honest than dragon den UK, UK, projections are high, the dragons are rude, greedy and dramatic etc.
