- Next into the Den is Sian entered the Den this week with her ‘Buddies’ brand. She has invented a fun electric toothbrush that automatically dispenses the correct amount of paste onto the bristles, she's asking for £60,000 for a 15% stake in her business, but can any of the Dragons see past that amount of debt?
An international sensation, Dragon's Den features entrepreneurs pitching for investment in the Den from our Dragons, five venture capitalists willing to invest their own money in exchange for equity.

Refreshing to see an entrepreneur who is actually desperate for the money, after throwing her life at the project shes pushing to succeed not start the water works in front of the dragons and actually keep her emotions out of it even though she had so much riding on it. Fair play and congrats to her and both Tej and Touker for taking a calculated risk on her. Hope they all succeed

I’m not usually a big fan of Touker but this showed him as quite a nice guy. Particularly after Jenny rubbed salt in her wounds before kicking her in the face

I can’t tell you how heart warming it is to witness these self confessed dragons, who are willing to invest to ‘rescue’ firstly this dear entrepreneur from her awful dept. I hope this business is a huge success, if not just to reward the two dragons for at least their compassion. The toothpaste dispensing automatically is such a cool idea. However, no matter how innovative this idea, parents will still find they need to encourage children to brush! To the dragons I say “Well done guys”!

Company doesn’t appear to be doing very well. Its liabilities exceed its assets by almost £300,000 and there appears to have been very little growth.
She will struggle initially but will thrive and be a winner - she has the right temperament and comes across as a honest entrepreneur. In the end attitude and gratitude will take her to great heights. I wish her the best.

About 18 years ago I worked on prototype toothbrushes that dispensed toothpaste as you brushed your teeth for a major conglomerate in that field as well as others. My understanding was the corporate board told the company in that area to proceed with a test market. I have not seen the product on the shelves.
