*Great **Latest.Bike** , good looking, good suspension and love the gearing. I've tested some bikes that were more then twice the price but not as good. Get lots of looks when riding.*

    Bros calves is crazy 😂

This is sound advice for a large number of riders for sure. For a smaller subset it won’t be optimal. A rearward clear position can cause toe overlap with the front wheel, especially for smaller bike frames. A rider with larger, stronger calves would disengage the calf with a Rearward position during the pedal stoke. I fit both of those descriptions above and had to adjust my cleat position because of it. I also find that with me, a rearward cleat makes my peddle stroke feel a little off balance when riding out of the saddle (front heavy).

Thanks for your input. I probably should have stated that this setup might not fit absolutely everyone. Every portion of a bike fit can be dissected and have varying ways of attaining an optimal fit. Thanks for watching!

What's up bro! Great video and thanks for the tips!
I just received my R9100 pedals from Shimano today and they come with the SH-12 cleats and after some fun investigation lol I noticed that the cleats I bought from Amazon are fake.
There is many notable differences including on the packaging and hardware but I'll just state the one you talked about briefly in your video, the side dimple or marking on the edge on either side to help aline the cleat to the metatarsal and pedal axle. Well It's non-existant on the fake cleats.
It probably doesn't make a big difference but now I wonder if the float that is supposedly correlated to each color cleat is accurate.
Also can you tell me what you said @2:42
Did you say "Back" ? LOL
"From this point I would highly recommend to move the cleat at least 10mm or more ______ ? from this adjustment if you decide not to adjust it all the way back."
    Thanks again bro!

Thanks for watching my video and for commenting. I said “aft” which is the same as back. I can’t really say for sure if non shimano cleats are the same so all I can say is either get a refund and buy shimanos., or try what you bought and hope they are the same. Hope this advice helps. Thanks again for watching!

Unless I got you wrong, tried your suggestion as a first timer, but it was unbeliveably uncomfortable for me to have cleats at the back. may be my bike fit is wrong all together, but moving them to front solved the issue

I’d be curious to see how the rest of you bike fit is. Do you have extremely strong calf muscles? Also, I like to know the brand of shoe you are using. I’m sorry that you were having issues.

@@Juricell i have a pair of fizik tempo r5, and barely strong muscles:) sure I need a proper bike fit I suppose, may be my saddle is too low/high etc. Low the advice any case and thanks for replying!

Hi my red ones keep and slipping out of the pedals
And sometimes won’t even clip in
    why’s is that

    • @Juricell
      @Juricell  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

There is an adjustment screw on the pedal itself that you can change to make to pedal easier or harder to engage and disengage. You might have to play with the adjustment until you find which setting you like the best.

Any known difference between sm-sh11 and sm-sh10? The 10 is 1/2 the price on Amazon
