I sent a link to this video to my brother in TX. We both grew up in this part of the Southwest. I now live in Roswell and have been for the past 30 years. I love the title of your channel, "Born 100 Years Too Late". Ditto.
BTW I love mules. 🤠 I agree, you were born 100 years to late and so was I. Keep your possibilities bag close to the chest and your slicker handy.
Thanks sorry I didn't reply sooner... lots going on in my world but I have plans to get back too it soon..maybe full time follow my dream .. your close to me so if you ever get by this way look me up ...my email is in the about page of the channel
🤠👍🐎🐎🐎🇺🇸Cowboy Up... I'm Living the American Dream.... Western Frontiers Man...💃🐂🐃🐂🐃
lol yes sir ..Yeee Hawww lol
I’ve got two guys close to retirement. My ass and a tractor seat have a date in the near future.
Lol …I’m getting closer ..I have a plan ..and when the times comes I will reveal it in a video lol thanks seller
Brett your dogs don't bark to much on when they're trailing. My does the same thing. I like to hear them trail and tree
One of these days you'll stumble on the lost treasure.
I keep looking .. maybe one of these days .. Padre La Rue or El Chato lol ...
Love these videos! Looking forward to the next one. Who makes your hat?
Thank you Justin ... this had I believe is just pretty cheap Rodeo King .. I do have a dress hat for going to town I think its a stetson .. and I wear a Palm Leaf in the summer when it gets hot
I agree about Yahoos, but just so you know...My friends and my family all ride different off road vehicles and also hate those who do not pack it out. We always take lots of large trash bags and pick other people's trash up and haul it out. We are not all Yahoos.
I have a side side also ..so I understand ..thank you
Another great video!
That is some beautiful country!
I leave Cletus (my mule) loose alot of the time just like my hounds and iv never really thought about it...I keep a t5 collar on him...is him staying with me something I'm taking forgranted?... other than my little horse iv never left my others loose so I'm not sure how they would do...
My mules won't hardly leave me if they are saddled .. I can just drop the reins and walk off .. now if I unsaddle them and they are with another mule especially Jet they will walk off .. and just keep walking ole Jet is the one .. even when I hobble him ... thanks!
How well do the dogs handle the cactus country?
They do fine with the cactus we have .. I went down to a place in South TX where they had dog pear cactus .. lays like a carpet on the ground .. terrible stuff .. they didn't do very good in that at all .. Thank Gary
Hi Brett, noticed your boots it looks like calvary boots are they? Ken curtis wore those in gun smoke, not sure if the history of the boot except the milatary at that time wore them. Is it better prevention against rattle snakes when they strike?
Those are what I call half chaps .. I guess they will protect you from snake bites and your shins from mesquite thorns .. they wrap around and zip up .. Thanks
Awesome.
Thank you!
Have you ever ran across any artifacts during your outings?
I was wondering the same thing and would bet that he's not the first human to eat lunch there.
I have found the things ..can't remember what they are called .. that the indians ground up corn or what ever in .. with the stone they used for grinding .. and I have found some old mining stuff .. nothing worth much.. maybe one of these days .. Thanks !
I need to send you a photo of my 81 year old dad , he hunts plott hounds and still rides and trains mules ...
Please do ..brettvaughn@icloud.com .. Thanks!
Do you ever find Deer Sheds, I’ll bet their is some monster Bucks out there.😎
I do find some ... not as many as you would think .. I might try to go on a few trips when the sheds are falling and see what I can find .. Thank you
Holy hell Brett
Never new you had a channel.
Is this Wolfer from the old Airedale days ?
i have a few questions for you . i had a cat in a given area spot me from 25 feet away and never moved , she watch me walk past her ,i did not stay walk long . in fact i ran almost 1/2 in some very rocky mountains ..this cat is a real problem . now i lived in wym for a few years and i have seen a few cats not like this one . o got a track in a stream bed and sent it to the SD so cal zoo to define why this cat is so big 170-180 lbs .. they send me a email saying its not a normal cat . its something else , i have to go back into this area and its been a few years . this is not a house cat ...lol .. what can i do keep this cat away from my camp site and work area ..? its in the wilderness area ,the superstition mountains ...this is a really big cat she is smart and dangerous ...got any ideas would help ?
Have a couple dogs with you ? .. Probably I would think the cat was just curious.. wasn't sure what you were .. stand your ground make a lot of noise .. don't run that might trigger him .. I would think most cats in that area have been hunted so should avoid humans .. but in case he is a rogue cat carry a weapon just in case .. be careful and Thanks!
Quite the rid for sure. Glad the pooches seem to stay out of all the cactus. I agree with the Yahoo designation - and I claim that only trashy people trash the outdoors. Keep gettin out there!
I believe that’s true …trashy people thanks Bob
Love Jack's voice
Thanks .. sounded good in the canyon
I bet. Looks like a blast
'Lots of yahoos in this world, I'm afraid'.................My line is: ' I live in a world full of morons.'
I am afraid we do .. just wish they would keep their trash in town .. Thanks
Look at all the chemtrails ..
What do you think of those?? Are they bad? something they are doing to us??
@@BrettVaughnB100 my daughter told me about Chem trails 10 plus years ago .she is now 38years old and in a professor at Cal Poly SLO she showed me the difference between Con trails and Chem trails one day, at that time I was like noooo but didn't argue as years gone by I do know with out a doubt "they" are spraying our skies ..Al Gore lol idiot himself start this to block out sun rays for "Global warming" its micro practical of a few different metals..im out side most all day 7 days a week (ride for pay and cowboy ) and I video and tell.people and watch the jets ! Im telling you theres something to it ..This agenda we are in and the spraying skies around the world ..future doesn't look to Brite unless people stop looking their TV and phones.
@@sheribrummett1960 I've heard that before .. never dug into it much myself .. when I lived off grid I had a guy that use to come up and talk about all that stuff all the time.... I'm sure there is something too it .. I sure don't trust the powers that be
@@BrettVaughnB100 i agree !
enjoyed
Thank you !
This is me in the future!!!
That's good .. I want more of it in my future also .. Thanks
@Born 100 Years Too Late it must be difficult to get free time to go out and explore.
@@mennyadventures2263 Come June .. more time ..cross my fingers
My friend your the real life Mountain man version of Easy rider

@@BrettVaughnB100 lol sorry i meant it as a compliment. The true search for freedom but you already have a better story my friend
I would like to see some videos of when y’all get some cats treed
Lol me too ..this desert has been tough ..I do have few …thanks
I would not be out there by myself. It’s not what you can see that bothers me it’s what you can’t see.
Thats probably true ... but I feel safer out there then I do in town .. seems like someone is always trying to run into me in town lol .. thanks
@@BrettVaughnB100 I understand that too!! Lol the fewer the 2 legged humans the better for me!
Oh absolutely I agree!!
You going to retire Soon?
I am trying to .. at least partially.. I know all I want to do is ride the hills follow the hounds interview some old timers and make videos .. just need to figure out a way to make a little money .. don't need much just enough lol Thanks Steve
YOU only miss Apache
Not sure what you mean .. did I miss something?
Did anyone else even notice the Chem trails ?
They are there most of the time .... bad news??
@@BrettVaughnB100 . . . Not good news for sure ! They have been spraying us with many different things for some time. For different purposes . It would take much more than I can type right here to get into it. But the short summation is we have a rouge government that is aligned with the globalist to reduce world population by as much as 90% by 2030 and their spraying the atmosphere , crops , and humanity is a part of that scheme. About all we " little people " can do is make sure we are aligned with Jesus Christ as our savior . Those elite trillionaires and billionaires have a rude awakening coming . Be glad to talk about it anytime . I'm sure I'm not the only one here that keeps up with it .
I wrote you about 4-5 years ago mentioning how much you looked like my dad. Had either one of you needed a body double you guys could have pulled it off.
He is a good looking feller I guess lol ... thanks .. I might need a body double soon lol
You might be 150 yrs too late amigo
Maybe so … I was born in 1961 so that would make it 1861 … I’m 60 so 1920 ‘s your probably right lol thanks
Can you not put out any cams on bait are just cams so you know when a cats been thew...And do you ever go hunt were you can cut tracks are no you enjoy just dry...
I could go and get into some areas where there is snow .. and I can drive around in my buggy and look for tracks but I just enjoy putting the dogs on the ground and riding through the country and see what they turn up .. here you go .. I kinda explain it here th-cam.com/video/npfUoCkfDXo/w-d-xo.html and I have never really thought about bait .. we did use these game calls at one time that just go off at night ... get a lot of trash coming in though
