I really like someone who is very knowledgeable (you) analyze other knowledgeable people's (Tundra) plays. I can see and hear how much you respect their plays which also enhances our respect on them. Damn Tundra Dota is indeed nerdy and beautiful
Damn, why did this take so long to get onto my homepage? I really wish we had more top tier players making accessible informative content while showing their face. Something the Dota community has needed for a while
instead of "cutting ahead" you can just say "cut" the wave. If you kill creeps in the equilibrium its called "pushing" the wave. If you skip the equilibrium and kill the creeps behind it, you "cut". It has to be "ahead" otherwise you wouldn't "cut" anything.
Oh man I was going through 33's dotabuff doom games and saw him buy a shit ton of mangoes a min in and wondered what happened. It didn't occur to me that it was the creep lmao.
I mean they've been doing it since day 1 of their team and now they mastered it like Wings Gaming they played and played until they mastered their style of dota which is why they deserve the win
Many people called this TI boring, but in my opinion Tundra compensated for everything. From the very beginning it was clear as day that they will make it to the final days.
So what's the actual lessons to learn here? AS A TEAM. Understand how each opponents on the lane will play their heroes and abuse each enemy heroes weakness. It's important to say "AS A TEAM" because as an example, you can see how 33 is playing in such a way to force enemy supports not to leave their cores so their Tusk can abuse Morp. This happens all the time in almost all their gamess, as A TEAM, understand what to abuse to have an early advantage. READ THROUGH ENEMY MOVEMENTS. Tundra is very good is setting up the phases of the game which enable them to know what are the movement options for their opponents. And again, ABUSE these to their advantage. An example is when they stopped hitting RS, because they know it will be contested. It was not a guessing game, they set it up in the earlier stages of the game. ONLY REACT TO THEIR ADVANTAGE AND RETREAT WHEN NECESSARY. They commit as a team, and retreat as a team. As long as #1 & #2 is solid, #3 keeps everything going. When things go south, they always have an escape plan. Which means, their commitments had layer of options. Sample, dive top tower, if Razor tp, back. That dive and retreat was calculated.
hmm, were you not able to learn anything/see anything new in the first 3 plays? 🤔 perhaps you can find something in the other 2 videos (part 2 and the 33 video). I do agree some plays are just very solid/high tier plays
Please give us more content like this, for sure we missed all these things while watching the games
Love the cutting ahead part. Doing it on both sidelines while pushing mid just seems like an unstoppable amount of map control if you're ahead

KheZu! MORE! This was incredibly illuminating. Their micro-level game play is so fucking clean. God I'm so happy they won, they really deserved it.

If 33 have a good game tundra win, If he got a bad game they lose. Only two games ive noticed they won when 33 had a bad game
Many people called this TI boring, but in my opinion Tundra compensated for everything. From the very beginning it was clear as day that they will make it to the final days.
