I got to see Simon McBride with Deep Purple last August and was just blown away. Even with Ian Gillian doing a spectacular job it was to keep your eyes off of Simon's playing and stage presence.

The music is good but the emotion of loss and desperation in his voice is lacking.....which really makes the original more passion to bring people to tears. It does sound like this person who's singing lost. It's ok. The original is Master Class!!!
