Legit I think these last three days of nightly updates has stabilized and improved performance for me across the board. We are almost there boys. Still praying for by March 24 to be fully fixed.
I would love to see Driveclub next. This game never made it to any other platform, and was locked to 30fps. Imagine being able to not only play this, but at higher resolutions, and an unlocked frame rate.
A month ago I couldn't even play at all, I was getting crash after crash (RX 6600 + Ryzen 5 2600), now I'm playing at 1440p resolution, 40-60 FPS. Excellent.
I tried it with my 1660 super on 1080p, with mods and its fine (55fps) until like 20 minutes when the fps drops crazy. I have to reset the game to work again.
there must be a leak of memory somewhere, it will eventually get fixed, im hoping for performance to get better and better and turn my steam deck into the ultimate emulator machine
you can actually play it on steam deck rn. it crashes eventually tho due to the memory leak. it plays long enough where you can play, and immerse yourself in the game. kinda nuts it's already gotten this far.
EDIT: What exactly was fixed for CPU? Does that benefit Intel users or just AMD? I wonder if there's still a major issue with VRAM leak, I'm playing with a GTX 1650 4GB VRAM and noticed that as long as the GPU usage don't hit 100% the game runs smoothly, but if by any chance it hits 100% GPU usage it won't go down (not talking about the 4GB VRAM utilization rather how hard the GPU works), the framerate drop is absurd, it runs at 16 FPS once that happens and the only thing you can do is reopening the emulator, this usually happens when transitioning to certain areas, curiously this problem happened more constantly on Central Yharnam, but still happens on other areas, not that often though. @@turbotegs2102 like every 1.5 to 2 hours in my case. i have 16gb ram and 8gb vram. the crash is not as offen as before but still the game will freeze at random point. And when that happens, I found most of the time the ram and/or vram are not fully used at all, especially vram, hardly more than 60% is used. Im not sure these freezes are ram/vram related at all at this point. The debug info also doesn't say anything like 'outofsystem memory' or something like that. It always some random errors, like audio related or simply closing a file, etc.
My games keeps having NPCs that just jump dialogues, like the nun or the guys who was half transformed into beast. Ive even tried reinstalling the game and nothing, Ill try starting a new game and reinstalling thw emulator to see if it fixes it.
Hi there! I can launch the game, but it freezes on the loading screen after creating the character. I’ve tried all the suggested performance patches and even without them, but I can’t get past the loading screen. I have the European Bloodborne GOTY version and installed the 1.09 update for 60@720p. Could this be the issue? I couldn’t find a standard patch, and given my hardware, playing at 30 FPS would be the ideal solution. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
You can probably get a pretty smooth 60fps at 1080p with those specs. I have a 3070, 5600x, 32gb of RAM and using a build on the diegolix29 fork, I get a very smooth 60fps in the first level

14900ks, 4090, runs very smooth almost always 60 fps, just finished the base game without dlc, crashtime average is about 2hrs~, exprienced only few bugs never had to swap to 30 fps
Just to understand, yesterday i played bb for the first time with my 7800x3d and 4070super(it was incredible), i just want to know one thing. I downloaded the fulbb version and it worked pretty well, unless some specific point of the map(only 2) where the game crashed some times. I think i played in 2k resolution too, but i fixed this crashes puttin the game in window mode and then adjusting in full screen again. I want to know, do i keep the fullbb or i switch to the main, does it have less visual effect or smthing else from the full version?

When the game is limited to 30fps per engine, the limiting factor, which is vsync, is first removed, then it is limited to the desired fps and deltatime is applied to resynchronize the image. After this, the physics are patched to the values applied with deltatime
In case of installing more mods than usual, will it increase the possibility of game crash and fps drop?, I had to install quite a few mods to fix most of the errors I encountered. I was afraid they would conflict.
8gb ram? I'm playing it on a GTX 960m(2gb) and 12gb of ram and it's playable but it uses a minimum of 10gb of ram. I don't think you can run it, even if you manage to run it the memory leak may be a problem for you

I started to play since the last diegolix fix 5 days ago. Just a few points for those who want to know how playable it is (I would say its a 98%) The only problems I had was: Vertex Explosion - fixed with a mod and it never happened again Memory leaks - the game sometimes crash after 4 hours of gameplay without streaming.. With streaming, drop to about 2 hours. Black screen on cutscene - Happened just to ONE OPTIONAL BOSS in DLC, can be fixed with a mod Overall, in gameplay and graphically the game are similar to the original. The time to load the game or after a teleport is RIDICULOUS (normally 10 seconds after starting the game I'm already controlling my character) and the lowest framerate I had was 50 at a specific point, in others it is always above 60 and sometimes exceeding 100 I'm using a 5700XT
Until they crack atleast 60% of ps4 library I don't think online functionalities will be a priority for devs.. And to check that aspect they first need offline stability of some games

I finished the game finally after waiting more than I can remember and it was worth it, it was a pleasure to play bloodborne on 60 fps for more than 25hr the version that I used is "mainBB 30e5cad" is that ok or there's better version than this
I solved this by increasing the vblank divider to 4 and limiting FPS to something a little higher than 60 (even if the monitor doesn't support it) like 65 by Rivatuner.

Big Memory leak is fixed but it's still there. But you can play with 16gb ram without any issues for a long time

60fps patch makes input latency quite high for me. Is there a fix for that or it’s just how it is?

While a 1060 is more powerful than a ps4 the fact it can emulate a ps4 game this well it's crazy

This main version released recently. Full bb is old. You can use this version till new fullbb comes out

There's a mod to fix crashes with Intel cpu, maybe try that

how are you going above 60 fps? I have a 3060 and the game seems to be locked to 60 fps even with vsync disabled. My monitor has a 165Hz refresh.

American version you have to install dlc separately. Europe goty version dlc is already included while installation

Yes performance is same. Set vblank at 3 or 4 and disable vsync in patch

Many were having issue with cpu limitations. Gpus were not utilized fully and amd gpus had many issues, now those are fixed
