If anyone says Lorcana isn't expensive their literally not understanding that you can't compare pros and cons to other TCGs because the product your talking about just isn't available even in Walmarts in most places it's out of stock, the game is so limited in sales outside of online that your paying 8-15$ a pack and 20$ for single copies of cards. So like maybe the game needs to be idk in print more so people can afford to play it because if you can't find the product or afford to play it it's not gonna last long and people hate have spent the crazy money aren't gonna be happy when the game inevitably comes belly up. Don't get me wrong I like the look, the art, the design, it's just not viable for anyone that wants to get into let alone kids.
The best thing I can say about Lorcana is that a few meta stables that need to be included in the decks like pete, let the storm rage, fire the canons (for steel) are dirt cheap and anything else is a deck based question. + for people with only little money to spend and wanna compete I will always recommend playing on a rogue level, this gives one a chance to win but one won‘t need to overspend and at least for me, it‘s the most fun playing at a rogue level.
do you play any other tcg? tournament level meta decks in any tcg, especially popular tcg's will almost always be more than $500. If you want lorcana to be successful and be on the same level as these other tcg's, you cant be complaining about a 400-$500 meta deck. thats just the way it is.
@@praisethesun2373 LEL. You don't add argument, you just say "it's like this it can't change" without explaining anything. Stupid price of cards is a game design problem and a monetizing problem. Giving the best card the lowest drop rate is the best way to get the more money out of you're game but at the cost of making the game unaffordable. I play Pokémon TCG for more than ten years now, never paid a deck more than 100€. You know why this is possible in Pokémon ? Because the most rarest cards are for collector not for players. And Pokémon is, with Magic and YGO, active for more than 20 years. Look on any website, you don't have any competitive deck for more than 150. Flesh and Blood decks are still very expensive but since there is no limit of printing for any extension i hope at some point and with the growth of the game the price will be lower. I understand the player base is still limited and the number of cards on the market is still low for Lorcana (compared to other longer card game) but yes there is many way you can make your game cheaper. Another exemple is Altered who just launched on Kickstarter. More than one rare per booster and number of rare in a deck is limited so average price should be lower but there system of unique card could make the game unaffordable too.
Yu-Gi-Oh throws off the curve, lorcana isn't cheap it's just not stupid money

thanks for the video
Lorcana is expensive. 500 fir a deck is a dumb, the same for 3 or 4 cards is just way dumber.
