What people don't realize and need to put more attention is how she's literally at the start of puberty!!! 1:55 Certainly! It seems that there's a growing trend in K-pop where choruses often feel recycled or remixed from previous songs, prioritizing what's trendy over what fits the song or introduces something new. For instance, a popular group's album went viral, sparking challenges and immense initial attention, yet many listeners, including myself, found the appeal fleeting. I might have listened to the full songs (start to finish) for 5 days but I've never listened to them again after that, nor had the wish to. Yes it might be my music taste but I think these songs as the ones that may grab attention temporarily, but they lack the timeless quality or innovation that keeps listeners coming back. The decline of timeless tracks within albums is apparent. The songs might be popular on TikTok but I could never get myself to play the song because it just feels very meh and disoriented.
I don't mind a song under 3 mins as long as it sounds really good. I heard great songs that were under 3 mins...some songs I had turned on repeat button.
Short songs exist because their main point is to get that virality. You see how popular NJ, LSM, Illit, ive & idle are?? They are short, always upbeat paired with surface level repetitive lyrics & empty repetitive chorus. A shorter song mostly consists of 1st verse, pre chorus chorus, 2nd verse, chorus & then the outro. They focus on the beat & over simplistic vocals & repetitive chorus in order to get the listeners hooked. Shorter songs are slowly becoming the norm in kpop compared to before having 3-5 minute duration.

I know a lot of people now a days talk about minors debuting in kpop but what about all artist in the usa who were minors. Every big star was underaged when they first got in the industrie and it's not a kpop thing. Isn't this just something that happens worldwide and something everyone knows about both artist/idols and fans. And maybe the change for this should start outside of kpop because kpop is known for being influenced by america. So as long as minors are the most popular artist in the west I don't thing we will see an change in kpop either.
I agree. I looked at the debut ages of certain western artists. Justin Bieber was signed to a record company at fifteen. Justin Timberlake debuted in his group at fourteen. Taylor Swift debuted at the age of sixteen. Heck, Kanye West's daughter North West, who is ten years old, announced her debut. Also, if people listened to Taylor Swift and the two Justins when they debuted but are saying something about minors debuting in K-Pop, then they are hypocrites. (Note- I am aware that there are probably more Western artists who debuted as minors.)
Honestly Seowon is 13 years old and I get that she shouldn't be in the industry but like can we like stop hating on her because y'all be talking abt the industry is harsh and hateful when you guys are literally contributing to the harsh and hateful attributes of the industry lets just leave her alone. Btw b4 anyone says im saying this bc im young im 19 btw
So... In Corea you are a minor... If you want to play really all days to the Russian Rulete you do not want any adult to tell you to stop because that can be traumatic? I get what you mean, belive me but as an adult, I prefer to have my nieces hate me, that they do, than let the younger to indulge in her anorexic, bulimic and selfharm traits, even when it made my whole family go against me because they refused to acknowledge the problem than know and keep quiet waiting for her to cross a line she can not uncross. She can hate me, she can curse me as long as she is alive and getting her treatment while knowing there is someone that knows and is there for her. So as a minor she must understand she is not in the right the place for herself at this time and pointing that out is not hate, is the truth, she can hate the adults that point that all she want but that does not incalidate the truth.
I hope you know that BoA also debuted at 13 right? I am in no way condoning it, but this is the reality. Us boycotting them is not going to stop anything because the domestic fans don't care. They are the King and we are peasants.

@@belaytriks That doesn’t make sense, she has experience when handpicking products/ideas. She is the CEO not artistic director! Directors don’t pay to produce a company with their own money
When it comes to kids i dont see the problem, literally there's a thing called child stars, actors casted at a very young age like literally 5 or less, 13 is good and its to train them so they get use to the lifestyle and get past the hard stuff quicker cuz they already used to the lifestyle as they get older and they grow up wth their band members which creates a closer relationship among them.
I was casually binging your videos when I saw a Yeosang fancam. Can I ask which Outlaw song is that???
Honestly Seowon is 13 years old and I get that she shouldn't be in the industry but like can we like stop hating on her because y'all be talking abt the industry is harsh and hateful when you guys are literally contributing to the harsh and hateful attributes of the industry lets just leave her alone. Btw b4 anyone says im saying this bc im young im 19 btw
Criticism ≠ hate
They aren’t hating her it’s literally criticism towards the industry for debuting her and fans for defending the debut of a literal child
@@lemonnnkake im sorry i was just saying my opinion its her parents fault I hope she doesn't get mistreated
@@oreotigercat why are you criticizing her, criticize the company, her parents and the show universe ticket
I hope you know that BoA also debuted at 13 right? I am in no way condoning it, but this is the reality. Us boycotting them is not going to stop anything because the domestic fans don't care. They are the King and we are peasants.
Yea but we shouldn't normalze it, we should always keep an eye on these companies and criticize them when necessary
🌍🌬🔥BOYNEXTDOOR comeback on April 15th!!!! And well I agree with you and I hope i agree with your opinion about bonekdo comeback but anyway as you said everyone has their music preference and mine is Boynextdoor genre.
Ok so About seowon, she's too young but its not all about age but mentality
Isn’t Jennie a CEO/Idol?
She is but I would not call her a CEO because it is like said G-Dragon is the CEO of his company when most probably he is the artistic director and in Jennie' case she is the product to sell and given what we have seen so far she is really bad at choosing for herself in wich she is involved.
@@belaytriks That doesn’t make sense, she has experience when handpicking products/ideas. She is the CEO not artistic director! Directors don’t pay to produce a company with their own money
@Kpop Spy can I promote other K-Tubers’ here or no?
You absolutely can💟
literally, one of the main reasons I listen to your opinion is because of how creative you get. LMAO how do you come up with all of that.
So tbh i don't see the negativity of it...
Are you stupid
Have you even seen what happened to the child stars? Lindsey lohan, Miles cyrus, half of the Disney stars, and mcklucky kulken
@@simplysimpy17half not all
also the child stars that you're talking about is on drugs(what ive heard ) so I don't know what you're trying to say
The entertainment industry is not safe for children
And next Jeonghan will get exemption😂😂😂then you people would say the same, honestly its sus how svt members have multiple health issues only for military exemptions but they can attend all promos lol😂
#1 At least she's older than me
#2 Seriously dont care how long the song is as long as its above 2 minutes
#3 ....
#4 I see no reason why not if they feel capable, then yes
#5 Rami... is the first person that came to my mind
#6 💀 How will she make it work?
1. shes younger than most people
2. its not ab the length, its j the shorter the song usually the lower the quality bc theyre j rushing it out
3.
4.
5. no fr :(
6. EXACTLY
@@i_love_what_you_hate4637 #1 Seriously, don't care (i do) what that implied was I would feel useless if an idol younger than me debuted
#2 it really does not feel like that to me, I doubt the song will be rushed, but it even If It was at least had quality
@@shwr4mii 1. no im literally 41🔄 its so weird seeing people in my year and below debuting😭
2. sweet venom by enha and chasing that feeling by txt
@@i_love_what_you_hate4637 #2 Exactly my point some songs could still be good
@@shwr4mii the fact you're saying that shows how underdeveloped your brain is anyways 13 shouldn't be debuting maybe later when they have an education and real life experience
