The first sketch must be a parody of a scene in an actual old film I don't recognise, and I imagine the original had the woman screaming stupidly at odd moments...? Wonder if it's possible to track down
Amazing that of all the railway clips they could have used, they chose one of the narrow gauge Lynton and Barnstaple Railway in Devon, with a train crossing the Chelfham Viaduct. The line closed in 1935, but is now undergoing a re-birth.
That's why the world was better then. No social justice idiocy or people looking for a grievance or "appropriated" culture, just people being people and not taking themselves or the world so seriously that they can't laugh at it. God I miss those days....
@@56squadron they all appropriate our culture when they get on a plane. Don't forget that one. Sure it'll come in handy in an argument with a social justice loon.
It is mocking Chinese people's accents, and you can bet Chinese people find Westerners' accents when trying to speak Chinese equally funny. But you're right about it not being "racist," as "Chinese" is not a racial term.
I once climbed into a train and a man screamed! I told him not to do it but he did do it again! I then talked to him using my Foot and he quietened down quite considerably! I then climbed on top of him and squeezed his cheeks! He objected and I told him that he was overreacting. I then showed him something he will never forget. Oh sorry, battery level low, have to g
I thought that I had seen nearly all the videos produced by this duo, but I don't remember the " spy on the train " or the " elevator " clips. Not sure if it means that I am racist, but I do like the " Chinese negotiations " almost as much as the " Cliched German Generals ".
Sarah Crowe is an absolute stunner. Never really made it famous for some reason as she was a talented woman and very beautiful, maybe too stunning and not kind of quirkily attractive for a comedian, don't know really.
The Chinese sketch was brilliant... and my Cantonese wife also loved it as well.
The Chinese sketch, I had tears in my eyes!
The first was weirdly funny...especially the sudden appearance of the trumpets. Enjoyed all three. Thanks for posting this for us to enjoy.

Finally! Found the elevator clip!!! Been wanting to see this for about 35 years!!
I think I avoided going in lifts for about five years after I first saw that sketch! 😂
Always fondly remembered Mel.
Cheers mate.
The Chinese sketch is pure genius with accents curtesy of Benny Hill.
What did that guy say after, "What a very thoughtful gift"? Phone call?!
Thank you. Or should I say, "Fang Goo".
Yes, Benny Hill.....
As his Chinese travel agent, he never mentioned Sri Lanka.....
Can't think why........
"Rubbery Day!"
Bonk! My head just fell off, laughing at the Chinese Meeting. Thanks.

@Gray Michaels Well, obviously. You'd have to be living under a rock not to know that.
Does that go through Whisborough Junction?
I wonder how much takes the needed for the chinese sketch, they're cracking eachother up! :D
*many *they
The bus ticket wasn't totally worthless! The return portion was still unused.
5:55 - Griff's face is a picture :)
@5:20 funny they cant help themselves laughing. Even the Asian girl next to smith is almost cracking up

Like Chou Mein by Benny Hill...with traditional haddock 😂😂😂😂😂
Sandra Dickinson, lovely to see her again.
I think it's Sara Crow.
Pure Genius. Reminds me of spike Milligan in goon show
A man of culture and knobbly knees I see...
Years later Griff finds out one of his uncles wasinvolved in something similar to the lift scene :O))
The guy behind Mel Smith during the Chinese sketch was trying his best not to laugh..
No, this is not racist. It is not mocking Chinese people but making fun of stupid accents, as done on many TV shows. Bloody funny too

They nearly broke the character in that Chinese sketch.
Chinese meeting. Saw it years ago. Could not find it on TH-cam. Thank you Google algorithm.
13 people forgot to buy gifts for the people of the Western plain.
Haw - it is seventeen naw - stupid sirry irriots.
the people of the western plane take the chance to empty the shed.
Ornamental spark plugs!
The first one was the best.
OMG, pure geniuses... 🤣
Great stuff!
met a guy like that on the bus once...
Strange why the complete series has never been released. Great comics and great title!
Steve Matthews
Rights circus.
Smoking in a stuck lift? Surely TV from another era.
I thought it was Imelda Staunton at first. It's the eyes.
Back in the day when John Daly and Phil Mickelson are in the acting business😂😂😂.
Psychological humour in the lift..
A class act.
Hey Jude is a classic! Very funny though!
People of both western and eastern plain amazed by Joe Biden and Donald Tlump. Impressed how two men in their seventies can maintain election so long.
Stuck in a lift with a psycho 😂
So goood!
We, people of the Centlal plain, think this is vely funny!
Cuppa cha?
Let's go.
:D
Wasn't that Sarach Crowe from the Philadelphia cheese advert in the 1st sketch? She was well fit!
It sure was and yes she was. Always the bridesmaid never the star. She belly danced in the very last Carry On movie.
Seems like they were taking the piss out of the 39 clues
Love the Chinese sketch. I'm going to have to find a torrent of this show.
Torrent? WOW!...2019 Dec and all I have to do is hit the download button and it's mine.
Salt

Who was the female actress in the first skit?! I think I fell in love
2:22 in -- the woman leaving the lift was the young woman in Are You Being Served (forget her character's name in that)
Wendy Richards ?
Not Wendy Richards
You can tell they probably had to redo that Chinese sketch a bunch of times, they are barely keeping it together.

The cloth ears one was funny
does anyone have their version of purple haze it was so so funny
5:52 is the funniest of all. They’re about to collapse about the place. Mel’s expression is priceless.
Yeah. I reminds my of the old Monty Python-sketch where Eric Idle is a butcher.
I think the Chinese accents were wrong - they were clearly Cantonese
5:11
Why does he say England, when Jones has Welsh blood?
It’s a parody
PrAying mantis wedding
Catherine Hepburn

Obviously the fate of the nation starts at lynton, stopper to Barnstaple then change for London Waterloo. Nice
Bloody funny, not like todays crap.

FANK YU
Haha aka they don't care for the current English government and monarch so they screamed
Ohhh right.....that makes it even funnier now 😂 thx.
Lies!
Wonderfully politically incorrect, wouldn't be allowed now.
extremely offensive - cancel everybody connected with the sketch
Yes! Bring pitchforks and torches!
GRJ always corpsed - he was less talented than MS.
