Thank god for smith and jones ! Thanks for all the years of laughs and side splitting humour. And what nice guys-i love how every photo of griff and his wife he is hugging her-so nice to see! Families dont last the distance in nz so it is always gratifying to see ones that do. You both rock-please do more -the world can never get enough of you 😂
Joseph M if you look carefully, you can see the point, where if you listen carefully, Smith and Jones point out, that if you are observant and look carefully, you can see Tony Robinson in the background of that sketch.
I came back to find your comment! I never remembered it but just saw it on Smith & Jones Sketchbook 2 from this channel!! As soon as it started I realised it mustve been the one... #dolphinlips 🤣

I guess it is just me, but I think the sketch involving the driver with engine trouble works better when they show the complete "engine renewal" in one continuous sketch. Oddly(?), in the U.S. there was a tv show called ALIAS Smith and Jones that was in no way like this program. It was a western with 2 young, reasonably good looking men. I wonder if the producers of ALAS Smith and Jones were aware of the other, similarly titled show?
The young lady reporter in the IV clinic sketch is, years later, in a few brilliant Harry Enfield and chums skits, mainly the Chumondsley Warner black and white retro BBC ones. The best two actually IMHO, Women, know your place and Women, for pities sake don't drive, you'll see there that she's one of those women that get even more beautiful as they get older. Oh, not positive but that Jesus actor looks like Colin Firth( Kingsman and many a period drama and romcom), surprised they didn't mention it, if true, maybe he wasn't famous yet by the look back?
the egg bit 100% ac (c)ue rate if its eu or ue where who how dont know who what when why referring to ??? guess work at best but for en sic work is a highlee specific sayonce

They were the Best at ending a sketch at exactly the right moment. The Best. 😀
Mr. Silverstein's humming was too much. ❤😂
I am absolutley in stiches😂😂😂. I can't stop laughing😂😂. HELP ME😂❤❤
Mel Smith was a legend. He left us too soon.
Great that Griff and Mel met. World is a better place because they came along . Laurel and Hardy, Abbot and Costello, Smith and Jones!
Agreed not sure about Abbot and Castello though
Thanks for uploading all of these
Great to see them both laughing in the last head to head of this episode. :D
Yellowswift3 and
" That's... six! " LOL!
Griff's reaction to Mel telling him that he wants to go to bed with him at 6:25 is priceless.
Stunning to see Baldric in the audience...
Brilliant comedy Rip mel 🙏
Mel was a terrific actor.
13.38 - Tony Robinson with a goatie beard!
If you look carefully, you can see Tony Robinson in the background at 12.13.
Jack Dear saw him , early on in career
if you listen carefully, you can hear both smith and jones talk about how he was in that sketch shortly after
Joseph M if you look carefully, you can see the point, where if you listen carefully, Smith and Jones point out, that if you are observant and look carefully, you can see Tony Robinson in the background of that sketch.
Has anyone seen or heard the sketch with them both trying to outdo each other by ordering the most outrageous food in a Chinese restaurant?🙏
That might be Fry and Laurie you are thinking of

Mel looks like John Candy in the Humming sketch.

Always wondered how IVF fertilisation worked. Now I know 😂😂
sketches in the opening credit sequence they never actually show.
Some of them do in the previous episodes
Didn't think much of it back then, and nothing has changed.
"Well, the whole thing is very sexy
agreed..?"
One way to really spoil great sketches is to strip away 25% of the original picture just to show them in 16:9. What were they thinking!
This was produced in 2006, when having digital widescreen was not universal, actually a lot of people were still watching this in analogue.
Time goes by so fast
Just like the bike i had then ypvs
some do, but still some in there that are never shown in any of the episodes.
Very funny. I'm sure i've seen the 'satanic dinner party' sketch somewhere else, but not with so much blood and gore :)
