Hi, I do have insider information that I am authorized to share, but I feel it's important to clarify that UGC does *not* contribute additional monetary contribution to said creators but are rather a condition creators must agree to in their contracts as a condition for their review deals in the first place. Most of these videos are actually edited by the company's staff in-house from said full reviews and uploaded using Facebook permissions without input or even knowledge of the original creators

Yeah the UGC thing is becoming a bit too much. It was revealing that all the YT creators I follow that had been sent Siren blasters months ago, none of them mentioned the 2 month wait for the preorders that they themselves were promoting back in June, once they arrived late. Not to mention that preorders arrived after Siren had them in Target. All of that leaves a bad taste in my mouth as to how honest they will/can be in the future when it comes to blasters that they are sent. I prefer the creator that buys it with their own money and gives an honest review. But as you say it's a double edged sword, once a creator starts to get sent stuff for free I can see it's hard for them to be totally honest, especially if the company " don't review the Blink yet".
Well as a TH-camr I can say without a shadow of a doubt and this is why I save my receipts Because I've gotten a total of three blasters for free one of them was a s 100 s clear blaize and I got a couple cheap Chinese blasters for free everything else I paid for So I can't crap on a blaster if it performs well and does exactly what it says I'm not going to and I have had one person say yeah well you got it for free well you know what that's when I break out my receipts and I showed them because I certainly don't care and if you want to accuse me of doing that then that's fine I'll show you a seat so I don't give a s***
@@christopherlibby5438it blurs the line between the actor, the persona they portray online, and the business interest they represent by advertising the products of. It preys on consumer confidence not in the product itself but in the brand of the influencer.
@@christopherlibby5438UGC is horrible because it makes it even harder to find accurate, unbiased reviews on stuff, and it can easily lead to people getting manipulated into buying bad products because they dont realize that their favorite content creators are paid shills.

I was hoping that the new Buzz Bee blaster was a return to Buzz Bee mega… but I was disappointed.

Lately nerf youtubers have gone more and more to the dark side. UGC is not a good thing.

UGC has always been the staple of content and IP sharing within the community. I fail to see how this is actually an issue.
