Bro this had me wilding.
Part four has to cover the inability to recover materials from FSDs, and the mourning of everyone with more than one ship who has to re-engineer all their ships FSDs thanks to the new supercruise boost modules being a separate module and not some kind of experimental unlock. Oh, and I guess you should do experimental unlocks too.
"Hutton Anaconda", "Pharmaceutical Isolator", and "Don't Forget Your Limpets"... fantastic.
The best part is running out of materials halfway through grade 3
Yup, back to farming or on your way to the next material trader. That's the game-flow I like ;P
I guess, he will come back for the experimental effect, right? Absolutely nice video!
Him: "heads or tails"
Me: *racks the slide*
😂I lost it at, "pick a catd"😂
Hera Tani be like: "I am NOT touching your power plant until you make a massive contriubution to my smoking addiction"
2:32 could very well have been the end and I would have been happy about the accuracy.
Damn. My money was on Pharmaceutical Isolator...
Only 5% progress for you! 🤣
I laughed so hard. "This is a highly scientific process" - yea, that was FDev maybe planning but did came up with a stupid RNG-mechanic. At least your RNG got some variation whereas we just do the button mashing until the materials are dried out. Thx so much for the laugh - but we still come back for the torture of RNG-button mashing anyway, let's be real ;D We players just love the torture of the grind...
here comes don't forget your limpets 😂
This engineering series is so hilarious keep it going Mile!
Amazing 😂 o7
You should have seen how engineering used to work. There was no progress before. Instead it was a slot machine where every stat was spun at once and you had to pray for the 1 in a million result where every reel came up jackpot on the same spin. You could empty your entire storage of materials and still strike out on one single module.
yeah, at this point I quit the game
Yeah I actually went and looked it up. Hard to believe, but the current method is actually an improvement!
The best part is, there is still some engineering effects and stats you can only get by having gone through that dumpsterfire. Want an Imperial Cutter with a Class 5 shield? Hope you were around to get a godrolled Class 5 shield with optical mass increase when that was possible.
Great Stuff!!!😂
"Hutton Anaconda" for the win 🤣
😂😂😂😂
Absolutely brilliant! And so true 😂
Incredible!
¡Absolutamente brillante!
I had really expected you to run out of materials because of bad rng :D
Ahahaha
What about "you cannot have grade 4 yet, you need to make more low grade gambles^W upgrades to be reputable enough" ?
🤓Nice!
😂😂😂
All of my frustrations in one video. That's why I didn't engineer for like 2 years. I was completely and entirely against it. Plus, back then? Your rolls were entirely luck. So you might have had to engineer tthree or more A-rated FSDs, until you got one that had the best role.
This would be funny if it wasn't true...
It's funny because it's true! 🤣
It's worse knowing I gotta do this all again for the new SCO drives............ o'joy. o7 cmdr 😅
Since I accepted to myself just to upgrade to G4 and G5 only for important ships, I feel a lot of pressure gone - it saves a lot of G5 mats that are needed for just filling up the G1-G4 materials. Dirty engineering is the way people!
🤣🤣🤣
