    I had some tires dry rot on me and my concern was UV protection since then. From what ive been told. VRP is the best UV protectant, tire kicker is their "high shine vrp". If you live in a place with high intensity UV in the summer make that a consideration.

    Just ran across this vid and have been using the CG tire kicker for about a year with great results. Loved seeing it compared to other dressings. Would be cool if we knew a bit more on the products like water or silicone based and the longevity of the product. Maybe week later update vid. Nice job, appreciate the vid!

    Chemical Guys products are the best. The spray on wax is outstanding. I been using CG products for a few years and I’m quite impressed with the quality.

      Yeah they are good. I used them as well most of time until I used Adam’s Polishes. AP has great shine and durability!

    My personal favorite? CG VRP. Granted, it DOES require no fewer than 3 coats to achieve it, but you WILL achieve a high-gloss appearance when all is said and done. Another attribute I like is the fact that it’s a water-based gel, thus reducing the amount of product you will be using overall regardless of how many coats you ultimately wish to apply. Finally, I’m floored by how long it lasts! I kid you not: it took ONE FULL MONTH for the high-gloss presentation to wear off-and that’s in spite of our notoriously rainy springtime weather here in southern WV! Absolutely remarkable. To each his own indeed…

      I used to be into the high gloss look, and still like a bit, but now I seem to enjoy the medium gloss look. VRP is the winner for me. I use the Adams polish tire applicator, and basically make a spiral amount of VRP and thats it. It lasts a long time. I typically wash the car bi-weekly, and my tires still have have a nice gloss. The added benefit is that VRP actually protects the rubber from UV and repels dirt and water. Not sure if the other ones just provide the look or not. VRP for me👍🏾

    Recently fell in love with Cristal Products Untouchable tire shine. It’s $12 for 4 bottles at Costco. I love the wet look.

      I’ve pretty much tried most of them, but Gyeon Tire is super great.

    Thanks for your review. I'm going less glossy, prefer the clean look. VRP and VRT doing very well there. Longevity?

      Thanks for watching and leaving comment! Adam's Polish Tire Shine has the longest shine. But maybe that is due to the glossy shine...so it seems to last longer.

    Never use armorall tire shine. Come right off after a day and slings all over your rims.

    • @mygt8a4re
      @mygt8a4re 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is water based but stays on my tires very well and offers a good shine for a week until I wash my car again. Usually "sling" happens outwards from rotation of the tire "slinging" product out on the body panels. Strange it went inwards to your rims since rotation forces pressure/product outwards. Did you accidentally spray some on your rims by chance?

      It is! And it lasts longer than the others. It's currently my favorite.

    I regret buying car guys. Such a waist of money. I’m much happier with armor all tire foam. Much easier process.
