    this is by far my favourite of his work. I adore this piece although I prefer the actual album version

    What a line up! Did you all catch the trilling Jan is playing at the 4:47 mark. Jan, did you just channel Jimi there? Brings back fond memories of Jimi Hendrix's "Machine Gun" live at New York City's Filmore East. Man, I am as old as dirt, but still rockin'.

    Jan, in those days what synthesizer were you playing from the Lync? I assume by that time you'd moved on from the Oberheim-SEM-based 4-Voice?

    eh. a bit rushed in the beginning and kind of slow and plodding the rest of the time. compare this to the 77 live version with Beck, there's no comparison. the synths he used there were better too; the whole thing had much more bite.
