Once in a generation you get someone who has a special gift and this man is one of those special few what a legend and keyboardist best I have ever heard
The performance transcends time and reality. I can’t even imagine the audiences reaction. Can only imagine this stuck with them for all time; as it’s done with me.
Miami Vice, Literally a series that was ahead of it's time. What an era. The nostalgia is real man. Been re-watching the entire series these past months, and what a time. Don't think any show can come close too it these days. Sad that the era, is long past. Iconic storyline, themes, instrumentals, characters and so much more. Legendary. Espically with Jan Hammer, and how he nailed it. So glad he got massive credits for the theme, and got chosen for it.
I just saw you in Portland the other week, we were front row at the stage! Cool seeing you here, perhaps some Crockett's Theme inspiration for your new tracks?
I have been to four of Kebus concerts so far and this song is a highlight every time. It is never the same and for me the best one was in Hannover 2017 where he absolutely killed it with the last part on the Korg.
Fantastic performance of a great theme song! Loved the way he played both keyboards at once and behind his back. Remarkable. How can anyone not like this? I guess they don't get it or it's over their heads.
I know I'm old, but when I saw CROCKETT'S Theme. MIAMI VICE, and Sonny Crocket's image came to mind. This SOUND IS MIRACULOUS AND AMAZING. BRAVO PERFORMANCE. All we need to is hear PHIL COLLINS singing "SOMETHING IN THE AIR TONIGHT". A complete Amazing Performance.
Amazing!! This guy creates masterpieces, then through his lifetime improves them. Like a genuine philosopher or artist. This guy is a musical genius. For sure.
Awesome. Kebu’s performance, here, was just as captivating as when saw Jan Hammer live in Chicago at Park West in the early 90’s. Very, very fun and cool.
It's not only mastery of the instruments - Kebu's enthusiasm is infectious and makes live performance much more fun, than any studio-produced perfection. 😊
Reminds me of going on holiday to Tenerife with my family. I was 15, got my step dad to hire a scooter and remember the whole time there listening to Miami vice cassette on my Sony Walkman. Mid 80's?? Brilliant, love the old MV days on tv.
Very cool to be the creator of a piece that’s now essentially timeless, loved it when first released, never stopped liking it. If anything seems to age pretty damn well

The '80's movies, the music never dies, the genre is picked up and rediscovered for the generation coming forth. It's that good, you can't fight it, give in to the spine-tingling sound.
