Why are people complaining about the music Feels like people just going “New thing isn’t exactly the same as old so it’s not good” These OST’s slap hard and fit the brothership vibe of the game
The more I listen to it the more I like it! I am comparing every song and trying to do a tier list, but damn it is hard, every battle theme is a godamn banger.
I really love this battle themes, i played every mario and luigi game and i'm glad in this game there is a new style of music instead of only Yoko, i really love this music compositor, and you can't compare this game with other ones because this music compositor is new so it's his first time to make music for mario and luigi game, and i really love the result
Some people I’m hearing say the music is not up to par with the previous games. However, I don’t think battle music’s rhythm is the problem. It’s the speed/tempo. Speed up the music, and it’s right on par with the previous games.
1X,25 sounds pretty good altho there are some bit's an piece in the regular battle and boss theme that sound off whit this i feel if you could put it at X1,15 it would be prefect
@@ROBDEWANDThe Regular Battle should be 1.15x speed, the boss theme 1.3x speed, and mid-boss theme should be 1.1x………and then you have the final boss theme phase 2, which is basically what the boss music should’ve sounded like.
i feel like the regular boss theme sounds a lot more triumphant while the midboss sounds more intimidating. midboss just makes a better boss theme but i still really like the reg boss theme.
@@pigeonpeck1111agreed. Both are great, although I like the regular boss theme more. Sure the mid boss theme is intimidating, but the regular is so catchy.
The boss and miniboss theme really grew on me and i really like em now, but man the main battle theme being all brass instruments and not even being a minute long means it got old and grating on the ears REAL fast, and its such a shame, i literally was avoiding battles at the latter half of the game not because i didnt like to battle but because i was so sick of the music xD
Kinda sucks that the actual boss fight theme is at some points mid, while the rest is actually good (although the regular battle theme coukd have been a bit longer too)
SS? You mean the very repetitive themes that had to be remade for the remake because it needed to be less repetitive. Also, I would argue the themes not comparing to BIS and DT is fine, i think the battle theme is comparable and the mid-boss theme is good. Those two games, especially Dream Team, are the peak of music in the series. So Brothership themes not being on the same level isn't a bad thing.
"i think we need to KILL this guy, mario"
- luigi after coming to the conclusion that violent bludgeoning is the only viable option
Luigi's the goat 😂
Damn 😔
@@tofugamer2082
Luigi: "*italian Gibberish*, Mario"
Mario: "*italian Gibberish 😔"
Luigi idea be like: What if we absolutely vanish this enemy from existence
Luigi idea be like: what if we disintegrate this enemy with an orbital strike
Luigi logic: what if we send this enemy straight into a black hole
As a fan since superstar saga, I think this theme slaps
Correction: I think the regular battle theme slaps. Still haven't listened to the rest yet
Why are people complaining about the music
Feels like people just going “New thing isn’t exactly the same as old so it’s not good”
These OST’s slap hard and fit the brothership vibe of the game
As is the way of things
Rip yoko shimomura's inclusion
Battle theme:"A Cruisy Clash!"
That's actually a quite fitting name!
Boss Theme: Looming Threat (Vs Tough Opponent)
Middle Boss: Turning up the Heat (Vs Greater Foe)
Extension Corps: Extension War (Vs Extension Corps)
The more I listen to it the more I like it!
I am comparing every song and trying to do a tier list, but damn it is hard, every battle theme is a godamn banger.
Boss Battle Theme Music is so Good
I really love this battle themes, i played every mario and luigi game and i'm glad in this game there is a new style of music instead of only Yoko, i really love this music compositor, and you can't compare this game with other ones because this music compositor is new so it's his first time to make music for mario and luigi game, and i really love the result
I honestly really like this, it reminds me a bit of scarlet and violet wild battle themes.
I think this would’ve fit better
I like it but definitely not as much as dream team or superstar saga battle themes
hooked on the brothers
This song gives off so much energy, it feels like you need to be bouncing while it's playing
NGL, I really only like the main battle theme, I like the more high energy themes of these games like in Dream Team.
People dont like the boss theme?
Shi sounds great
Yes absolutely!
I also don't get tired of it AT ALL.
It's amazing!
2:45 🙏🏽😭🔥🙌🏼
Great soundtrack!!
Regular battle theme reminds me of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet battle music
Why is no one talking about how good 0:27 is
Some people I’m hearing say the music is not up to par with the previous games. However, I don’t think battle music’s rhythm is the problem. It’s the speed/tempo. Speed up the music, and it’s right on par with the previous games.
no its just terrible and is 50 seconds long untul looping
No@@stanfoo1175
For me sounds cool :,v

it's like this theme fits paper mario the origami king's battle theme more than what it is now.
Hmm I think I like the midboss fight theme better than the actual boss theme.
That part at 6:08 is so good
Totally AGREEMENT
Yeah agreed. It sounds much more threatening.
i feel like the regular boss theme sounds a lot more triumphant while the midboss sounds more intimidating. midboss just makes a better boss theme but i still really like the reg boss theme.

I really really can't decide since I really like both of them SO MUCH.
I also love both turnaround sections in each theme
Battle theme sounds like metal slug.
Is it just me or does the battle theme’s instruments make this song sound very pirate-like.
Does anyone think this sounds very similar to pokemon scarlet and violet

Little sad they didn't take the paper mario approach of having it change based on location.
I agree, most of the music in this game is very mid. Probably because it has a new composer
@@BlaizeTheDragon Yeah that was why I loved Origami King's OST so much, and I'm glad TTYD followed that. Shoulda been here too 💀
Kinda sucks that the actual boss fight theme is at some points mid, while the rest is actually good (although the regular battle theme coukd have been a bit longer too)
YOU'RE MIDDDD
Agree. Though I'm glad they could keep the Mario & Luigi vibe without Shimomura! That's a nice change in tones.
I’m really sorry, but I was hoping that theme wasn’t it, I find it boring. Look at SS, BIS, DTB etc. This is very slow in comparison.
Nothing can beat the dream team battle theme. Best one in the series
