We start early in July usually. I LOVE the idea of a slow start! We start with morning time/enrichment + math. Then after a few days we add our formal English, then History/Science. It takes the pressure off, especially if you've had an extended and relaxed summer break.

Thanks for sharing! We are still waiting on the notebooking pages for Preparing, but will probably start with math next week.

I cannot tell you how much I appreciate you and your videos! We have NOT started yet. I have boys ( 9 and 12). They spent last week chasing me down the Missouri River ( 340 miles from KC to St. Charles) during the MR340 kayak race. We did read "Of Courage Undaunted" ( about Lewis and Clark)before the race, because the start line was at one of their camps, and there's a museum ( Lewis and Clark boathouse) at the finish line...so that counts as school...right? 🤪😂
