I was in the middle of something else with this playing and the pause of noise got my attention back to stare at that horror
I'm assuming that the reason there is a nudity toggle is an error and future proofing measure. The models of Vic3 use the same fundamental body model that CK3 characters use, which is a model that includes nudity. If there was ever an error loading clothes, or if they ever think nudity will work in the game, the game could show a nude model. So there's a toggle for it.
Clearly, they gotta be ready for when we bring a ck3 Adamist nation all the way to vic3 in a mega campaign.

Rulers will definitely have one, generals and admirals probably will, whatever equivalent it has to advisors (if any) might. Beyond those, I can't really think of a use for them.

Might just be priority targets, due to presumably a shared Heritage trait. So if Spain goes militarist, it will naturally want to reclaim its empire.
@@GroundThingno because if you look at the GDP graph they gained all the countries at once yet they dont even have notorious on the infamy thing meaning they have less than 50, its just not possible
Acholi is an interesting country. Consider them you ever wanna play in Africa again. They're unique because they have multiple primary cultures whose homelands cover pretty much the entirety of East Africa. Since malaria doesn't affect countries in their homelands, they get a big head start on colonizing.
My advice is to mass barracks initially, unite Uganda, rush Colonization, grab Kenya, and then take Zanzibar and Ethiopia.
I tried that, actually.... France colonized super fast still despite all my efforts. I do wish an African nation trying to unite other Africans worked a little better in the game. I was saying "Guys! I'm trying to save you from the colonial powers! Why won't you join me faster?" They never rose up against me to give me the colonization boost, or in the earlier patch, the territory entirely. But the rose against France often.

I may be wrong, but I believe that if laith was using a formable nations mod, Spain could have been a unification candidate for a Latin American formable, and could have done something with that.
well mali can be formed in the base game so seems unlikely, unless he had one on anyways

About the nudity: some cultures like the Amazons dont wear clothes if theyre lower strata. They just wear leaves like in ck3.

I think either Madagascar or one of the pacific islands (if they’re even playable, if not there are probably mods that can change that) would make for very interesting campaigns, being islands and all. Loving the content!
Madagascar basically starts with no tech at all and are isolationist, its a really slow game. Hawaii can boom once you get some population coming in since it starts with multiculturalism, thats probably the best choice of the small islands.
@@pyrothelostone The really difficult starts are usually to most fun to play and to watch, going from awful to powerful. The most fun Victoria 3 video I’ve ever watched was probably the yemen video and that starts with literally nothing

21:15 reminds me of my playthrough as mexico, where i queued the panama canal in construction 100 times and basically cheated prestige because it never downsized my monuments (for a HUGE subsidised cost, but it was fun testing!)

Yes. Go to the state overview for your colony. Under “Growing Colony,” there is a growth bar with a pause button and an X. Push the pause button and it stops local growth without killing the colony

11:00 I know this game was a while back but it's a good idea to build one university in every state (although Massina will be fine with just one in the capital) as the presence of the university will increase the qualifications of the people in that state which will help them take new jobs that they may otherwise have difficulty being qualified for due to low literacy.

Britain, France, Russia, Prussia, France, Austria, Spain, Belgium, Netherlands, and often the US will pretty quickly have an interest in the Rhine if they don't immediately have one, and it's very, very rare for the AI to revoke an interest from the Rhine once they have one there.

It comes with some pretty big penalties to your stability and prestige if you let another country open your market by force.

16:00 The Mosque of Djenne is well worth the investment, even right at the start of the game, because the increased education access helps so much with getting your people more politically active (a side effect of literacy), getting your people to work better jobs, and eventually with research.
