    Tyler Joseph ladies and gentlemen. For the person who said the song is over serious, Tyler wrote this about his grandmother's passing. He was in the room with her at the time and he used everything that happened to inspire this song. Tyler was definitely not lip syncing.

    • @awesomepsume
      @awesomepsume หลายเดือนก่อน +17

      His chat is less emotional, and more logical. As it stands they rather appreciate the music as a means of marketing and production for a show, than an emotional expression of meaning and art. It's not that they're wrong, it's just that they don't appreciate the same things. I'm sure there are some logical notions you don't appreciate because you can't stop thinking in terms of expression. Albeit, yes a chatter saying "This song is so over serious" is very heartbreaking when thinking about it from the perspective that other people might not be able to be moved by such intense and masterful expression. But consider that they are either a kid that has yet to experience remorseful loss or a person just looking to get attention.
      Try not to label entire groups of people by the expressions of a few.
      We are all beings in the balance of human experience and some favor the logical, that doesn't make them miserable, inhuman, or your enemy. If anything it's rather beautiful that such variety and balance I.E. perspective exists.

      @ of course everyone has different likes and dislikes but a lot of the hate was forced because people only knew the hits and thought they were cringe, you’d ask someone years ago and they wouldn’t give you an actual reason.
      My own brother is one of those people who hate TOP just because he can and says it’s because heathens played one too many times.
      I will die on the hill that TOP hate was forced because a lot of their songs even from 2013&2015 are actually amazing songs down to the lyrics, the meaning, the sound, the story etc.
      A lot of their songs also touch on real problems and a good amount of people hate that and think it’s emo, cringe or woke.
      No hate to any musician is justified just because people want to hate on them, if there’s reasoning sure but just because people didn’t like stressed out and based everything off that one hit,no.

      People seem to think artists record a different take to lipsync on on live performances. Because i've listened to every version of this song that released (the one in the show with the different instrumental ending and the single version) and you can immediately tell this isn't any of these. Which would mean they recorded a brand new emotional version and they lip synched that... Which is not only crazy to think but also completely fucking idiotic. This is so blatantly not lipsynching i'm actually wondering what the hell did most the people on twitch see because i refuse to believe that many people are completely braindead.

      It doesn’t come across in ANY recording, but Tyler has insane technique. When I saw him live, I was like, oh, THIS is what Wagnerians mean when they say someone has a huge voice … he employs dynamics with exquisite control over a two-plus hour live performance while running, jumping, falling, and interacting with the crowd the whole time. He definitely builds breaks for himself into songs, where he’ll have the audience take over so he can catch his breath, but he’s not a lipsyncer, just a really thoughtful, skilled, and authentic performer who’s clearly taken the time to pursue some form of legit vocal training (self-taught or not, whatever that means). I forget which performance it was, but he was sick and super pitchy when performing for some awards show and he didn’t use autotune so he’s got my respect for that.

    Tyler is an absolutely incredible singer live, don't let these fools spoil your fun, 21 pilots know exactly how put on a good show.
    And if you liked this, just search 21 pilots storyteller performance, you won't regret it!

    When I heard his scream I ascended bruh. Tyler gave me chills for that made me love Twenty One Pilots more cuz I already known them since Heavydirtysoul.
    I remember Tyler’s mother passed away and I think he actually wrote that song to dedicate her I think, could be wrong.

    Tyler ain't lipsyncing because the scream he does near the end isn't apart of the original, and you can see his face and mouth tense when he screams it, whilst you can also see him breathing during the process of singing. It beautiful, also wrote it for his Grandmother's passing, he wouldn't lipsync a song so personal to him. 👏

    He is no of lip syncing. They are the greatest musicians in the world and will be hard to top. Hard working extremely competitive and honing there talent over many years you get perfection. It’s the American dream on stage. Beautiful to watch Twenty One Pilots perform as always. There live shows can not be topped. Pure talent. Makes everyone else look bad and trust me….. they wanted to. Are extremely competitive

    when i first listened to this performance i was completely blown away. i was screaming, i was so hyped and excited. the scream did absolutely everything because it was the exact thing i felt was missing in the studio recording. it does sort of upset me that so many people in these twitch chats are talking about it being lip synced, or just going on about random shit and not truly appreciating how genuinely beautiful of a performance this is.
