People seem to think artists record a different take to lipsync on on live performances. Because i've listened to every version of this song that released (the one in the show with the different instrumental ending and the single version) and you can immediately tell this isn't any of these. Which would mean they recorded a brand new emotional version and they lip synched that... Which is not only crazy to think but also completely fucking idiotic. Okay but like- Can we talk about Courage's reaction? He was really into this segment to the point he didn’t wanna say too much during it so he could listen to that whole performance. That's honestly mad respect right there

But yes, a better sound check would explain this, and if it is the case - amazing performance by them because it's flawless in every aspect.
It doesn’t come across in ANY recording, but Tyler has insane technique. When I saw him live, I was like, oh, THIS is what Wagnerians mean when they say someone has a huge voice … he employs dynamics with exquisite control over a two-plus hour live performance while running, jumping, falling, and interacting with the crowd the whole time. He definitely builds breaks for himself into songs, where he’ll have the audience take over so he can catch his breath, but he’s not a lipsyncer, just a really thoughtful, skilled, and authentic performer who’s clearly taken the time to pursue some form of legit vocal training (self-taught or not, whatever that means). I forget which performance it was, but he was sick and super pitchy when performing for some awards show and he didn’t use autotune so he’s got my respect for that.
3:29 The cameraman was about to zone out of Tyler before his big scream, and Tyler was signaling him to stay on him, that's what was up with his hands :D
Ohh, it's so obvious now that you pointed it out, great detail. It's crazy how he is looking at and motioning things to the camera person while still effortlessly continuing to sing.
Im pretty sure he is asking about the black paint, which has to do with the Trench Album Lore and has been a metaphor in his music and stage performances.
Listening to the original version and official version is all the proof you need this was a TGA original version with zero lip syncing. The cadence was unique to this performance and the scream moment was phenomenal and completely from the heart, it doesn’t exist in the song whatsoever prior to that moment.

I wish they all had better reactions but tbh, this was like half way into the live stream so their reactions are gonna be a bit lack luster. but from what I see they all enjoyed Tyler and Josh’s performance.
I am a massive arcane fan and probably listen to the song five times per day after watching the show. So I was happy to hear it live but figured it wouldn't be as good as the normal version. My feelings changed when I heard that gutteral scream full of emotion. I was blown away. I understand why the show version couldn't be done like that, but I felt it in his voice. It is so good. Bro that hit so hard for me, those 2 are insane, I can’t wait to watch TOP live, and i wish i could have done the same for the other goat, RIP Chester
The people saying he's lip syncing are annoying me so much.
It pissed me off more than it should have because if there’s one thing Tyler is going to do he’s gonna put his entire body and soul into the song and never ever think about “lip syncing”
@joeyknuppe8879 idk how people still said lip syncing after the absolutely amazing vocals at the end with the scream....its beyond me!!
especially since none of the 2 other performers for this arcane ost were lip syncing, why would he be the only one too that makes no sense
tyler wouldnt accept to do a show if he had to lip sync i think
@@coastermaxbecause it's absolutely amazing! Tyler is just that good!
I think the biggest compliment here was from Charlie. Also appreciate that he was sure it wasn't lipsynced.
Charlie: "Damn, the fucking pipes on that guy. Jeezus. See, If I could sing like that, I'd have so many fucking shit post with the worst music of all time but sung beautifully.
He's missing out an a golden opportunity, really."
if only he knew about taco bell saga
only if he know about tb saga, and coconut shark
Charlie can appreciate good music when he hears it I think we all know why
It’s tied between that and CaseOh’s Chester comment
Caseoh literally clapped and cheered and complimented the song
He had the most reaction of them all
dude why is chat full of people saying that Tyler is lip singing this performance? Like why can’t they just enjoy the performance and not think it’s lip sync? ESPECIALLY THAT SCREAM???
Why do people think you can't lip synch a scream?
@@minners71bro just look up any other performance he’s done on his own tours bro isn’t lip syncing 🤣
@@minners71because in the original , he didnt scream , even if he did recorded the same song with the scream in it ,its still impresive .If you dont know lip sync you should check your research well enough before commenting .
Tyles have other live performance doesnt even lip sync you should check it out .
Dude can and does deliver a variety of screams at his shows. At the last half of Clancy Tour, the scream during Backslide. And the Navigating scream. Those were so raw, and not lipsynced. He has no need to lipsync.
This is so blatantly not lipsynching i'm actually wondering what the hell did most the people on twitch see because i refuse to believe that many people are completely braindead.
why are the chats full of haters 😭
they're just jealous
Take a sec to remember the kind of guys who watch these streamers and you'll get your answer, lol
losers irl
Most of these people think hating on things make them look better or cool, it's a aside effect of not having a proper social interaction for a long time.
keyboard incels, nothing to worry about
It’s sad that people on tgg’s stream was spamming “woke” when the song is about his dying grandma. People are literally brainless. I genuinely have no idea where woke came from 😭
"woke" is a popular word which means.... I don't even know anymore, people fucking use it to show how braindead they are I assume
I will defend these dudes until the day I die. They don't get enough credit. Saw TØP live in October and he sounds exactly like this. He has such a pretty voice. Josh does too, but he does not sing.
If you saw them live, you’d know Josh does sing in quite a few songs during The Clancy tour.
It breaks my heart seeing reactions and people go “oh it’s the stressed out band” I know that was kind of the big radio hit but TOP and Tyler are so much more. Happy he got a chance to show them
Ive got tickets for may. I can't wait!
@@JunkedRoboti think that is why he said “Josh does too…” imo, that is something that should stay relatively secret.
I’m really glad I didn’t know before the show.
Josh sang in Stressed Out at Jingle Ball last night. And he had singing parts at all shows during Clancy Tour.
Love how the anouncer is a bit choked up as he speaks after the performance
Tyler is a homie. Not lip syncing.
👍🏼 for the clique.
not tyler. not for this. this was real. we love our boys |-/
I've seen Twenty One Pilots perform live 6 times now. I've been to nearly every tour they've ever done.
Tyler doesn't lip sync. He's just that clean live.
Okay but like- Can we talk about Courage's reaction? He was really into this segment to the point he didn’t wanna say too much during it so he could listen to that whole performance. That's honestly mad respect right there
as someone who has been to Tyler’s concerts, he is very capable of singing like that so i really doubt it was lip synced
“what’s up with his hands”🤣🤣🤣🤣 you wouldn’t get it 😐
Theres two reasons; 1. he does that to control himself and his emotions,
2. Autism
Oh and the paint for his insecurities
These people don't know anything about Tyler Robert Joseph, they need to learn asap
I'm a professional singer (been doing it for 2 decades now) and while watching yesterday I said "Man, either this dude is lipsyncing or he's damn good live AND had more time for his soundcheck" because it sounds too... perfect?
But yes, a better sound check would explain this, and if it is the case - amazing performance by them because it's flawless in every aspect.
they had rehearsals yesterday so yes they had plenty of time for sound check. no lip syncing
You should watch them alive. Hes voice is unique and nop, he's not lipsyncing. 21 pilots FYI if u want to take a look.
Caraio THE KIRA JUSTICE aqui?? kkkkkkkkkkkkk
Ah yes the professional is here to explain, get a fcking grip dude. This is Tyler Joseph from TwentyOnePilots and he's the professional here.
i'm not gonna lie, he actually gave the best performance on that stage
3:29 The cameraman was about to zone out of Tyler before his big scream, and Tyler was signaling him to stay on him, that's what was up with his hands :D
Wait I didn’t notice that little pointing detail that’s sick
Ohh, it's so obvious now that you pointed it out, great detail. It's crazy how he is looking at and motioning things to the camera person while still effortlessly continuing to sing.
I thought he was referring to the black paint.
Im pretty sure he is asking about the black paint, which has to do with the Trench Album Lore and has been a metaphor in his music and stage performances.
this too but I realised he's likely referring to the black paint. I thought those were gloves before I looked closely lol interesting details
Don't know who TGG is but he needs to purge his chat like Schlatt did
Listening to the original version and official version is all the proof you need this was a TGA original version with zero lip syncing.
The cadence was unique to this performance and the scream moment was phenomenal and completely from the heart, it doesn’t exist in the song whatsoever prior to that moment.
I came here for the scream |-/
HELL YEAH.
proof that gamer livestreamers have negative appreciation for anything actually ressembling art and not just smashing their buttons
Edit: This is meant as a lighthearted joke
Huge fan of both twenty one pilots and video games. I think these streamers are absolutely unable to appreciate other forms of art like this, but I also would like to say that it's unfair to diminish the art of video games to smashing their buttons
@@watermelon996 oh dont get me wrong, i play games myself and there are plenty of gamers/streamers who are not, well, these. the reason i said it so generally is bc, mostly the big mainstream ones (and esp the LOL ones) really do only get famous/clipped because theyre loud and brash and 'keyboard destroy' type people
Asmongold is probably the biggest art hater streamer out of all of them tbh, dude has no principles, no respect. But it's not surprising coming from someone that despite being rich REFUSES to clean up his room/house. That dude is pathetic at the core.

“The Line” is definitely one of my newest favorite songs.
You can hear the genuine emotion Tyler Joseph put into this song. May his grandmother rest in peace.
As someone who’s been rocking with Twenty One Pilots for a LONG time, and has been a gamer for a LONG time, this makes me so unbelievably happy to see. Just so cool to see them performing here, and to see a bunch of people realizing how talented they are. Awesome.
Caseoh is the one that react genuinely. The rest are just npcs
I wish they all had better reactions but tbh, this was like half way into the live stream so their reactions are gonna be a bit lack luster. but from what I see they all enjoyed Tyler and Josh’s performance.
i mean act man has not even seen arcane, i would say courage, act man and caseoh are the most genuine here, charlie is always a bit dead inside tho
@@juanjox2006 Charlie is naturally like that lmao
@@LotFrat exactly, but he actually seemed to enjoy it, or at least was surprised with the show
The rest are also genuinely reacting, they just aren't feeling it that much.
I don't know how these streamers just sat there quietly after that. I rewound it like five times...
Haha that's a lot of his songs tbh. They're so good live. Check out some other live performances.
Same.... i was blown away by his performance❤
For many of these streamers (Asmon for sure) their audience is the type that thinks emotions are emasculating.
To all of the people that said it was lipsync, with that scream, he told you all it was his pure voice :)
3:05 yes, this is for our cane
It’s not about my cane. It’s not about your cane. It’s about arcane
Ladies and Gentleman, now we can say, CaseOh really deserve the award. Just look at the chats. They're the only one supportive from this clip.
You know what is sad. The streamers are what they are okay, but they at least see Art infront of there face, a lot of ppl in different chats are so lost in there HipHop flexing Gangster movie that they completely blind to Art. Its sad actually
Thanks for putting this compilation together
Of course critical the only one that's like "this is good and also hes just a good singer chill out" lol
LMAO TY I WAS LITERALLY HOPING FOR THIS GIDEO
I hope that this performance brings in a new era of twenty one pilots fans because OH MY GOD BRO
I realized they could be so much bigger if they actually cared about being famous. they're mad authentic n I think that's y I stuck around for so long. they took a year long break too js to get away from all the hype from 2016/17
He wrote the song about his grandmothers passing. But that scream came from the soul because right before he performed, he had just gotten word his grandfather had passed away. He sang like it was a final moment and it was done beautifully
Talentless nobodies not reacting to this masterpiece in front of them is honestly not surprising.
Asmon's chat is so insufferable, people need to know that TGA is more than just the awards, it's a celebration of gaming culture
lmao everyone in asmons chat saying "doesn't sound live" and "lip sync" don't realize that he never used any voice modifiers for the original song like 99% of singers do nowadays. Dude just sounds that fucking good.
All I see from these video is the amount of racist shit happening in all streamer chats and the streamer just allows it.
They don’t?
Room temp IQ of Twitch chat never fails to depress
8:43 chester loved tøp!!
Even casoh loves linkin park and twenty one piloys
Asmondgolds chat seems as insufferable as he is hoooly
Tbh they're worse than him, somehow
opening his stream is like a “make yourself suicidal” speedrun
Tyler is an absolutely incredible singer live, don't let these fools spoil your fun, 21 pilots know exactly how put on a good show.
And if you liked this, just search 21 pilots storyteller performance, you won't regret it!
When I heard his scream I ascended bruh. Tyler gave me chills for that made me love Twenty One Pilots more cuz I already known them since Heavydirtysoul.
I remember Tyler’s mother passed away and I think he actually wrote that song to dedicate her I think, could be wrong.
It was his grandmother
Tyler ain't lipsyncing because the scream he does near the end isn't apart of the original, and you can see his face and mouth tense when he screams it, whilst you can also see him breathing during the process of singing. It beautiful, also wrote it for his Grandmother's passing, he wouldn't lipsync a song so personal to him. 👏
Chatters thinking Tyler is lip-syncing must actually be braindead 💀

"whats up with his hands" for a sincere answer, it started a few albums back, where he'd paint his hands and neck black to represent the hold his anxieties and depression had on him. didnt even realize he's still doing it. (there's much more lore but that's the jist)
“What’s wrong with his hands?” Me: “it’s a long story”
when i first listened to this performance i was completely blown away. i was screaming, i was so hyped and excited. the scream did absolutely everything because it was the exact thing i felt was missing in the studio recording. it does sort of upset me that so many people in these twitch chats are talking about it being lip synced, or just going on about random shit and not truly appreciating how genuinely beautiful of a performance this is.

Whoever says he’s lip syncing should listen to the original. They would never lip sync. Tyler is a legend.
They talk as if he started singing 2 days ago

Tyler Joseph has the most beautiful voice. What a great singer, composer and artist. Brillant talented
if i was streaming this, i wouldve broken so many eardrums by how LOUD i screamed at this performance. caseoh is the only one who got the memo
How can caseoh be this based
"what's up with his hands" WHILE HE DOES THE BEST SCREAM HE COULDVE ADDED??????
lol, my first thought was how different he sounded from the studio version because he was clearly singing live. 100% not lipsyncing.
