I still don't understand why Arcane didn't win the award for best adaptation. Fallout is certainly good, but Arcane evoked so many emotions that words can't describe.
It's simply because the LoL lore is pretty 'unsubstantial' in the sense that viewers that have played the game don't feel any more attached to characters for having done so. The lore is superficial at best and almost irrelevant to the gameplay. As a matter of fact there's many of the LoL community that dislike Arcane because it messes with the original lore. Fallout on the other hand is pretty much ALL story so someone that has played the game before feels like they are part of the story as they have actually experienced it before. Don't get me wrong, Arcane is hands down the best piece of media I've ever seen and nothing comes even remotely close, I'd be surprised if I experience anything else like it in my lifetime. It will have a place in my heart for the rest of my life. And I'm a 25yo dude thats not emotional at all yet it hit me like a train. Made me feel things that I thought I had become numb to. Even over a month later its still impacting my daily life and how I perceive life. Not necessarily for the better but also not for the worse you know lol.
The second season was not as well put together as the first and Fallout's debut was extremely faithful to the source material and shockingly believable. Also, kinda helps that the lore wasn't completely remade as is the case with Arcane rewriting league's lore. I think it's just necessary nitpicking when the options are both phenomenal
Damn ... just Damn ... "Remember me" and "Wasteland" could have been a little bit longer but "The Line" was the perfect ending. And the beauty of Arcane is, all songs are so beautifully matched to their scenes that it hurts listening to them while all the memories keep coming back. Beautiful show and beautiful music! I absolutely love the Soundtracks of Season 1 and Season 2.
"The Line" hits so much harder for me now that I heard that Tyler wrote it about his grandmother's moments leading up to her passing. Knowing that as well as how the scene with Viktor plays out give me chills literally ever single time now when I listen to the song. There's this entire other dimension to it now, it's so painful but also so beautiful. The parts that get me more than before now are definitely "Did I disappoint you? Will they still let me over?" and "pull the blanket tight now" because I just KNOW those are the parts that make no sense purely in the context of the show other than metaphorically which means he 100% took them verbatim from his own experience and that just breaks my heart.

One thing I love about this is that Tyler Joseph brought back the darkened neck and hands, indicating this song derived from his insecurities much like the Blurryface album
@@mr.flawlesstaco Key word: Supposed The Line when used in the narrative of Trench definitely feels like Clancy admitting that whatever this line he has to cross, he's going to do it. "I feel the light shine on my face" to me at least, this line indicates his acceptance of what he's going to do As for what, is left to interpretation for now. But I've had a feeling that Clancy is going to become a Bishop for a while now.
They need the full song with the other artists and I wish the French singers were there…woulda been epic…and imagine dragons finishing it off with the theme song
@randomlygeneratedname7171Well, Tyler definitely had his grandmother in mind when he made it and dedicated the song and music video to her memory, but correct me if I'm wrong, but the song isn't entirely about his grandmother, no? Did he directly say in the intro clip before the music video that the song was **about* his grandmother? Shouldn't it be about Viktor and his struggles?
@@victoriabell9546 It coincidentally matches the vibe of what Victor is going through but on the league of legends TH-cam channel at the end it says it’s actually for his grandmother.
his vocal performance has improved a lot since trench. I honestly cant believe my favorite band is collaborating with the series that helped me so much during hard times.
The real jump was in between Blurryface and Trench. The live performances were INCREDIBLE for that Trench tour. He took over a full year off between albums and it really did him some good.

I like modern artists, but a testament to the people who chose Arcane’s soundtrack that these performances are more consistent than any AMAs or Grammy’s I’ve ever seen.
Wow I know next to nothing about this show or the band but the build and setup to that scream was something else, the singer looked like he just unloaded a lifetime of emotions, he had something to say.
Tyler wrote this song after his grandma passed a couple years ago. Sadly, he just lost his grandfather earlier this week 😢probably where the emotion/scream came from
D4vd, Royal and the Serpent, AND Twenty One Pilots in the same place is honestly a big achievement! Everyone did amazing on making music for Arcane and they all captured the emotions of each song so well 😭💙
I love the transition from Wasteland to Remember Me, with the "Don't let me go" to "Show yourself", and then the instrumental transition from Remember Me to The Line is just beautiful.

@@Majorjabroni Tyler lost his grandmother, and this song is written about her (besides being about Viktor from Arcane of course). Right before this performance, his grandfather passed away too.
@@tyjo5074There was a video that played before the music video premiere that had Tyler talking about his process writing the song- he said that he prefers to pull from real life experiences and emotions, and the loss of his grandmother was a major influence this time around. i’m gonna leave the twenty one pilots bias at the door, because this is honestly one of the best, most emotional performances of such a beautiful song i’ve ever heard. it’s such a beautifully illustrated and animated scene, and tyler and josh’s performance perfectly captures those emotions. such a beautifully written song.
Can’t believe this show didn’t win. Loved fallout but like, arcane is genuinely one of my favorite pieces of media ever made. I didn’t think much about the fallout show a week after i finished it. It was good and I remember liking it, but I’m still thinking about arcane all the time, and I can’t see that changing anytime soon.
Yeah Fallout was good, and I genuinely thought that last episode landed that feeling in a TV show I havent felt since probably Westworld. That excitement and mystery. But Arcane is just on a different planet. There may never be another show like it, ever. I dont even trust Riot to do it again.
Man Arcane has done something to me that no other piece of fiction has ever done before. Its honestly crazy that it didn't win, but honestly its far from the most insane decision that tga has made so ive come to expect disappointment
Whoever did these awards has that same mentality as film/tv awards where anything animated is automatically seen as childish or inferior to anything live action. Also wouldn’t be surprised if Amazon money had something to do with it

One thing I love about this is that Tyler Joseph brought back the darkened neck and hands, indicating this song derived from his insecurities much like the Blurryface album
It's been back for a while now since 2021. They released an album this year called Clancy, which is supposed to be the end of that storyline
@@mr.flawlesstaco I honestly haven't listened to or seen any of Clancy to know this, thanks for the info!
@@reffmanLISTEN TO CLANCY ITS SO GOOD
yes i noticed his hands surprised and cool he still does it
@@mr.flawlesstaco Key word: Supposed
The Line when used in the narrative of Trench definitely feels like Clancy admitting that whatever this line he has to cross, he's going to do it.
"I feel the light shine on my face" to me at least, this line indicates his acceptance of what he's going to do
As for what, is left to interpretation for now. But I've had a feeling that Clancy is going to become a Bishop for a while now.
Please make a version with this scream included cause holy smokes. I love when you can hear the emotion come out that powerfully.
All three performances were so amazing!! And how did it feel so short?! Wish there was more..
They need the full song with the other artists and I wish the French singers were there…woulda been epic…and imagine dragons finishing it off with the theme song
Whoever the guy was at the end was amazing! His performance gave me goosebumps
That was Tyler Joseph from twenty one pilots!
😂
He made this song for his recently lost Grandma. That’s why he has the most passion out of all of them
@randomlygeneratedname7171Well, Tyler definitely had his grandmother in mind when he made it and dedicated the song and music video to her memory, but correct me if I'm wrong, but the song isn't entirely about his grandmother, no? Did he directly say in the intro clip before the music video that the song was **about* his grandmother? Shouldn't it be about Viktor and his struggles?
@@victoriabell9546 It coincidentally matches the vibe of what Victor is going through but on the league of legends TH-cam channel at the end it says it’s actually for his grandmother.
Learning Tyler dedicated this to his late grandmother helped me understand his raw emotion in this performance...stunning
Twenty one pilots is my childhood and to see them here is crazy
You must be very young and I envy you a lot
his vocal performance has improved a lot since trench. I honestly cant believe my favorite band is collaborating with the series that helped me so much during hard times.
The real jump was in between Blurryface and Trench. The live performances were INCREDIBLE for that Trench tour. He took over a full year off between albums and it really did him some good.
@@bobspongeinpineapple agree
i’m BEGGING Twenty One Pilots to record a live version of the song because this performance was so much better then the official version!!! That scream is everything 😭✨
4:18 How the hell that calming tone reach that scream and sing along with same calmness like nothing happened.🤐
Y'all started a whole Conversation while I'm gone.Thank you for likes 🥺✌
It reminded me of Chester B
@@jhorz1 EXACTLY. I'd love to see a Linkin Park collab or cover or something-
No offense to the new vocalist, of course.
It's a Freddie Mercury voice
thats tyler joseph for ya :p
@princembat yes i know i just say its just like freddie mercury voice
4:13 nicely subtle movement of his left hand towards his face to the camera to keep a close up to his face.
It was at 4:09 :)
And 4:14 when they still weren't getting it ❤😂
Idk how he stays in the emotion and performance when focusing on all of that. Truly a performer. ❤
what a great catch!! so interesting seeing his brain work
@@hermitcollector I honestly hadn’t noticed it at first until I saw someone on twitter point it out. That’s a professional at work, I love it!
I like modern artists, but a testament to the people who chose Arcane’s soundtrack that these performances are more consistent than any AMAs or Grammy’s I’ve ever seen.
My bones tingled after that scream from Tyler. This was breathtakingly beautiful
'I can feel the light shine on my FAAAAAAAACEEEEEEEEEEEE' Tyler Joseph you blow me away every time
Be honest: How many times have have come back to watch this?
yes
i lost the count
Too many
I lost count ❤
Ive never watched arcane, but this performance genuinely made me tear up and made me feel weak and sick, I genuinely thought I was going to throw up.
You should watch it. The scene where it appears its so good 💙💙
The scene that has "Remember Me" still gets me emotional. I tear up just thinking about it.
@@PapaSparky😭福根酒馆
The footage that goes with these songs is gonna make you bawl. It's a must watch for sure :)
It's an experience you won't regret
This might be the best live performance I've ever seen in my almost 40 years of life. Absolute masterpiece from all of them
I don't get when some people say they hate "screaming" in music. That honestly gave me fcking chills, so intense.
Ig they never heard of metal 😂😂😂 bruh
Wow I know next to nothing about this show or the band but the build and setup to that scream was something else, the singer looked like he just unloaded a lifetime of emotions, he had something to say.
Tyler wrote this song after his grandma passed a couple years ago. Sadly, he just lost his grandfather earlier this week 😢probably where the emotion/scream came from
@@katienapoleon1297 Oh no really??? His Grandfather died earlier this week?!?!?
@@katienapoleon1297i think he's just a good singer lol
@@nikolaib5764 well of course!! He’s a phenomenal vocalist, always has so much emotion.
@@katienapoleon1297 wish i had pipes like his!
D4vd, Royal and the Serpent, AND Twenty One Pilots in the same place is honestly a big achievement! Everyone did amazing on making music for Arcane and they all captured the emotions of each song so well 😭💙
I love the transition from Wasteland to Remember Me, with the "Don't let me go" to "Show yourself", and then the instrumental transition from Remember Me to The Line is just beautiful.
this is so unbelievably beautiful. every artist absolutely knocked it out of the park. god damn, the performance of The Line was breathtakingly gorgeous
Tyler Joseph live >>> any records. How is it even possible. Genius
You should see Aurora, she’s the exact same
@@sandysutherland-sy3py True!

I'm not sure what's so satisfying about Tyler walking towards the front of the stage but it just is.
Tyler sounds so angelic when he’s is preforming live. I’ve gone to 3 of their concerts and absolutely love them
2:41 the moment it starts....im crying. literally. this song hits me so hard, since somehow i can relate to it so much.
Same instantly start crying. Felt every word of the song so deeply sigh 😢
I instantly got goosebumps
nobod< gonna mention those insane transitions through these 3 songs? goddamn i dont know the last time i wanted to write a comment so bad. arcane is a masterpiece to its core. thank you riot, fortiche productions and everyone involved in this! i absolutely love it
beautiful performances by everyone, and it always feels like a punch to the gut when Tyler screams like that live.
and thank you for updating the title :)
4:06 Masterpiece 🔥
This entire performance from all the artists involved was phenomenal. Shout out to the crew that put this on and organized all of this. Incredible.
tyler and josh did amazing, their performance was so moving and beautiful. tyler adding in a scream was so good.
All 3 of them did such an amazing performance, d4vd's vocals are crazy😭and also the scream in "the line" wow, Royal and the serpent too, her voice is beautiful
I keep coming back to this, Tyler's voice is so buttery and enchanting AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH
it was such a pleasure to get to work on this! hopefully just the beginning of some new friendships & future collaborators! thank you riot games team for the opportunity!
These are not just TWENTY ONE PILOTS, bro! Those artist at the beginning deserve more respect. I can't believe this
Its ok bro, everyone shone and everything was fine, they did a great performance together, the best I've seen this year without a doubt
@@IgorVillar-e6b that's not the point xD, d4vd and Royal & the Serpent are not included in the title or the description, like if they were some kind of side characters

Great ! The three singer all did amazing vocals. But the scream from Tyler Joseph at the ends was something else !
The orchestra really added something more to these songs ! Tha'ks for the show
Right after losing yet another grandparent. Beautiful.
Wait what? 🥺
@@Majorjabroni Tyler lost his grandmother, and this song is written about her (besides being about Viktor from Arcane of course). Right before this performance, his grandfather passed away too.
@@phantasmagorics Where did you hear the info about his grandfather?
@@tyjo5074one of his family members posted it on instagram
@@tyjo5074There was a video that played before the music video premiere that had Tyler talking about his process writing the song- he said that he prefers to pull from real life experiences and emotions, and the loss of his grandmother was a major influence this time around. I think some people recorded the video and uploaded it here + on Insta!
combing back to this, d4vd did so good wth
i’m gonna leave the twenty one pilots bias at the door, because this is honestly one of the best, most emotional performances of such a beautiful song i’ve ever heard. it’s such a beautifully illustrated and animated scene, and tyler and josh’s performance perfectly captures those emotions. such a beautifully written song.
As a Twenty-One Pilots fan, please put the other artists (d4vd + Royal & Serpent) in the title and description!
its been 11 days and im still here
D4VD Nailed Remember Me. it's my favourite song in the whole show honestly
d4vd has so many great songs, his voice is so angelic
imo my favorite part but during the line I did ascend I can't lie
Hearing it didn't win is insane
Man Arcane has done something to me that no other piece of fiction has ever done before. Its honestly crazy that it didn't win, but honestly its far from the most insane decision that tga has made so ive come to expect disappointment
Arcane has already won in TGA 2022
Whoever did these awards has that same mentality as film/tv awards where anything animated is automatically seen as childish or inferior to anything live action.
Also wouldn’t be surprised if Amazon money had something to do with it
Royal & The Serpent - Wasteland: 0:01
D4vd - Show Yourself and Remember Me: 1:04
Twenty One Pilots - The Line: 2:17
Chester Bennington is looking down from heaven smiling at the performance tyler from 21 pilots put on. The way he belts that one line really shows the emotion in the performance. Amazing performance all around, all 3 of them
Lowkey still wish Tyler was the new vocalist
@hashslingingslasher3083 he would be a good fit, but i think he would be too close to actual chester which may give people the impression that theyre trying to replace him with a psuedo copy as opposed to going a new direction
That scream reminded me a lot of Chester aswell :)
dont know if you knew this, but twenty one pilots were actually chester's #1 favorite band. he adored them
