See I think that but at the same time. Why does Josh's drumming not match up with the song. Like they muted Josh I don't know how even, though I know it's live 😭✋️
@@Thelittlemermann it’s almost impossible to kit the line and stay there. That’s why it’s probably auto tuned. I do wonder why they did it to that part only though. Wings of Pegasus goes through songs and shows how they are auto tuned. Watching his channel is an education for sure. Most times it’s not up to the performer when it comes to those decisions on a show. At their own concert.. yes.
I've seen videos of Tyler singing in live shows or whatever for years, and his voice is always like that, so didn't even cross my mind think that this wasn't his real voice. He's just a really great singer, and knows how to perform.
Glad you checked out the live performance! Tyler screams in other songs and has executed them perfectly. Can you see if your program shows similar results on other live performances where he screams?

If I could ever help myself from wanting to hear their songs the moment it’s released, it would be fun to try. Chances are 0.0001%. 😅
If you're a good singer as well, a sustained scream is actually relatively simple to keep at pitch. Sustaining notes at pitch is one of the fundamentals of signing and when yup can put your entire body into keeping it there, well there you are, you just have to not _over_ do it.
so you’re telling me that the entire song was sung perfectly and they kicked in the auto tune or the background tape for literally 1 note and 1 second?

I’m so glad you guys are such big fans of Twenty One Pilots. I heard your brother reference No Phun Intended in a recent video and thought “oh yeah these guys are BIG fans.” I was blown away by Tyler’s live performance of this song and hope it gets officially released with the scream. 🤞🏼 It’s perfect.
4:18 Well it's a scream after all, so it's way easier to stay on note (atleast for me) since it's basically just a controlled pushing out of air from the diaphragm, and that dude has been a professional singer for like what, 15 years? Highly doubt that scream is tuned.
I don't think a single 'flat' line in the pitch indicates tuning, in fact I'd say the opposite, too many straight lines is a sign of tuning. Nobody would pitch correct a single note in a song and ignore the rest. When songs are pitch corrected, it's always going to be in multiple places. For some reason the people doing the 'correcting' think every note has to be spot on A 440. It's definitely refreshing to see actual live performances though. I watch Wings of Pegasus a lot, and man it's just disappointing how much autotune and pitch correction is just crammed everywhere in modern music, and even in modern releases of older music!
I've seen them live so many times, Tyler and Josh are so talented man, they always change things up during live performances and its always a solid execution
i can understand being suspicious of tuning these days but don't ever assume the real pros are pre-tracked. as someone who worked on this project, Tyler is a legend, and this was not tuned.

It was also a highlight of her life, she had never been to a concert before, but most importantly the show flawed her. The lyrics, the story, the lice true talent was aww dropping. ❤❤❤
The only thing that makes me believe the scream is live is that there are no other versions of this song where that scream exists. I guess they could have done it just for this but to knowingly change it seems more sus then just feeling the moment and going for it. I mean he has one of the most incredible voices to begin with so I can't see this as much of a stretch to believe its live

Could the flat high note just be that the mike/setup is capped at that point? So not changed afterwards with "intent", just run through a high end setup that is made so singing/talking isn't impaired but unwanted wavelengths are filtered out (so you don't get feedbacks or something?)

If they recorded it professionally, I'm sure they did, they have some way of inspiring all the tracks individually to a DAW and can edit it in post. That means they can mute all the drums at any point even if Josh is still playing them, and they can mute individual pieces of the kit or individual members of the ensemble. All of this is pre fader from the soundboard meaning they can do any of that live on the recording software while not muting any of it in the actual building (if there was a live audience). Not only that, but they could livestream it legit in real time and then after the Livestream has ended reedit any of the audio or video reformat the video in any way they want and then upload that new file which would then take the place of the said Livestream.
