- Here is another 3D Printed Gun.
It is almost the actual size of real gun.
I'm so glad that I eventually made semi auto pistol that actually works.
The accuracy and power are still need to be improved.

Ok this is legit the best thing you've created, its better than a commercial GBB pistol and with a simpler design to boot. I'll definately give this a try when I get the time👍

I would heavily reccomend printing smaller parts first to get used to the printer before you try a project such as this. This can be daunting to a first timer and can cause failures with the prints if not done correctly
The loading mechanism looks tedious af but i am surprised it is semi auto. GJ

Really cool, also this is called double action because the pull of the trigger cocks the gun, not the recoil from the previous shot. Its really impressive considering you cant make an actual semi auto airsoft gun without gas blowback

@@SadCatStudio. More rubberbands on the ejecting part of the gun. This makes it harder to cock back but it shoots farther

can you tell me how this guns work and the mechanism
When you pull the trigger
1. BB is loaded from the magazine, into front of push pin
2. At the same time, the push pin is pushed back against rubber band.
3. Soon the the push pin is released and BB is fired.

I've printed the gun 🔫 and after putting magazine in, push-pin not shooting, any solutions, pls ?
Why don't you see if moving parts have enough room to move and push-pin length and position are proper.
Problem is that the rubber bands break quite easily and you'll have to keep replacing rubber bands if they break on wear and tear. Maybe there is unbreakable durable rubber bands out there.

It depends on printing setting. With 20% Infill density, Support over 45 degree angle will take about 90 meter of filament.
It has low power... but still its a epic pistol!

Rubber band pushes "push_pin" and also stops it.
Rubber band stands between "push_pin" and "lock_rear" and can be damaged between them.
Make sure the joint area of "push_pin", "lock_rear" and rubber band is nice and round.

it's perimeter is about 14cm.
hey for me the trigger insintly snaps off and the barrel parts don't move around any recommendations (i have an a1)
If the rubber bands are too heavy, parts may stuck by rubber bands or broken.
The piece at 7:03 has to be manually reset for me and then it will shoot. It gets stuck all the way in and wont go back out like yours, any solutions?
1. Rubber band is supposed to stop "push_pin.stl" at proper position. Make it sure "push_pin.stl" stops at proper position.
2. "trigger_bar.stl" pushes back "push_pin.stl". Make it sure their position is correct.
How can we improve power
More rubber band will make it more powerful, but it's limited by strength or size of parts.
We need new mechanism.

You mean 6mm BB? I don't recommend that. 3d printed 6mm BB can not be as good as commercial one and it should cause problems.

What do you mean 10 or 20? On push pin, I believe 3 rubber bands are maximum capacity.

I have a question first of all I love the speed loader what size do the bbs have to be or does it not matter and my idea is if you made a v2 that the area you hold on the gun like the grip area should have a rough texture and also be a bit skinnier front and back thanks for the ark though.
It should be 6mm BB. Sure I'm gonna make more better guns.

Hey man i printed the gun and iam having a problem with 2 bbs being stuck in the chamber any idea why ?
I believe there can be two reasons.
1. The gap between "barrel_01.stl" and "trigger_bar.stl" is too wide.
2. The magazine is inserted too deep.
I recommend you to disassemble and test those two possible reasons.
What's good about 3D printed Airsoft?
You can throw the mag like in movie and won't hurt your wallet.

Copper wire should be different from music wire, I believe it will not work properly.

In my recent video I use swing mechanism and I believe it can be quite powerful. I should be able to make a rifle with it and sniper rifle as well

Are you printing "slide.stl"? It is recommended to print it upside down, as when it appears in the video for the first time.

If you printed all parts properly, why don't you check out if rubber band is too thick?

Magazine doesn't require supports. It's max overhang angle is 45 degree.
Body requires supports, not easy to remove, yet possible.

You can print freely while it is personal, not commercial.

It may be a size issue. Make sure parts around trigger.stl and relevant parts which move together with trigger.stl is big enough to let them slide smoothly.
alright will do ty, I might resize the rampp just cut off like .8 or so mm of the top@@calvin_a
lowered the ramp by .8 mm and i think sanding a bit of it off with a file will make there be no resistance, Thanks.@@calvin_a

Does "trigger.stl" keep break? If so, Check out printing direction.
It is recommended to print "trigger.stl" side to bed,
as when I put it on the desk for the first time in this video.(03:28)

The more or harder rubber band will improve power, trigger pull weight will increase as well.
However it is not that simple. More space is needed for more rubber band. relevant parts should be strong enough to stand the power.

@@ishaanyadav3552 To handle higher strength rubber bands all relevant parts need to be strong enough. Since they are small plastic parts, maximum power it can handle is not very high.

CREALITY Ender Series? It should be, if the size is big enough. I made this with Ender 5 Plus.

"trigger_bar.stl" should be free to swing up and down a little bit. It should swing up when we pull the trigger.
