JdMisterClean 2008 it’s honestly not even that lucky, I did what he did as well I pressed the buttons like 4 times in total and then another button opened up and I pressed that one like 2 or 3 times and then the other button opened up and I pressed that one once and it opened the elder scroll it was a pretty simple puzzle to be honest.
They aren't puzzles. Puzzles require logic. These are random button pushes. The first time it was "solved" was either random, or time consuming, or both. But thanks, person who posted this video, because this was pissing me off!
@@bobot1981 Yeah the game developers are kind of self indulgent. They should have focused on fixing the games many shortcomings instead of this nonsense.

I spent hours trying to find this tower, finally found it feels like a relief finishing this edit: doing the quest again on a new load, also this is a great tutorial, repeating yourself actually helps so much
When i had done this puzzle i was like "ooh the elder scroll!" And completely forgot to grab the lexicon. So now i gotta go through the whole fucking ruins again.
There's a door right behind where you get the elder scroll which leads to a lift that takes you to the surface which you should have used the first time you went in, if you did use it you can use that to go straight back down.
This helped a lot. This is the farthest I've been in Skyrim and I was so confused. I tried to figure it out but I clearly cheated lol. Thank you for making it simple
So many years playing this game and this puzzle still gets me 😅 I'm glad you made this video and actually vocally walked us through it instead of rapidly and silently hitting buttons... I watched a video of someone who did that and had to pause every other button press and still managed to get it wrong 😓 But with this I was one and done 😁

12 years later and this just saved me after like 30 mins of trying myself 😂 straight to the point video very simple and no stupid 1 min intro and outro with ad for like a speaker from a sponser they have.
9 years after op and it's still helping avid fans ....I've played skyrim about 3 times but this will be my first full playthrough ....my Xbox broke wen I had the first copy got another one had to restart then traded it for a ps3 got a nother copy restarted then upgraded my ps3 to a ps4 and had to get another copy ....cheers mate....ps I have refused to even upgrade consoles untill I beat this I will not be distracted this time...thanks mate
