    I’m new haven’t bought anything more than a pack of Bright Lights, and other than THe Professor’s videos this has been the single most helpful video I’ve seen. Thank you!

    Love these type of videos, so many people just say go to a LGS and support your LGS but my closest LGS is over an hour away and with my work schedule it is pretty impossible. Me and my friends have a game night every other week were we play magic and yugioh and now will be adding Flesh and blood to it.

    Great vid. I've been watching this game for a couple of years but I think I'm ready to take the plunge. Not really into competitive or anything like that, it's my first TCG.
    I like the idea of opening packs and RNG and I love foils so I'm still thinking of getting boxes even though most people recommend the blitz stuff. What I'm unsure of is if it's worth going back and picking WTR/CoW boxes on eBay or if I should just focus Uprising and up...

      No stores near me just anything for this game, it’s horrible that they don’t but no one does. It’s a shame and that’s one of the reasons I wish they had an official online game.

    I would say, in order to get into COMPETITIVE play, you are best to use a deck from the classic battles, and learn about the other decks by playing AGAINST them. Prism, Boltyn, Chane etc were awful to learn with. While Dori + Rhinar and particularly Ira, you can def win an armoury or skirmish while learning the more complex mechanics without having to make decisions around them yourself.

    I know this is late, but im trying to learn the game and i bought a booster box from every set and a blitz display pack from every official set available. I bought the armory decks and classic battles. I picked up the four player vers and im struggling to find a hero to start with that showcases the game in its most default mode.
    Just like i wouldnt teach MTG to a new player with a mono blue or black deck. Id probably use white or green bc they do their basic thing and arent super situational.
    I tried fai and domrai to learn with my friend on our first game and we struggled to understand the ash tokens and phoenix cards. It felt very fringe. Maybe "easy to pilot" but hard to learn the pace and structure of a normal game.

    I just found out about flesh and blood from a deal on Facebook 400 cards for 5€ .Should I buy them? I also started watching some games in talishar. I don't know if there are store hosting events but in real life I want to play with my friends so I'll probably be the one investing money to get decks and boosters but don't want to spend a fortune. We will probably gonna play during the weekend some casuals matches. Thanks for the videos as well. Cheers.

      Bulk for $5 would be awesome to get a taste of the game. Due to its unique game system, you're getting the whole game experience with even commons (Commoner is a format too). There's also the new Round the Table product that comes with 4 decks, and with the new set coming in May they'll have both a new Classic Constructed precon, and 3 mew Blitz decks that come in a storage box with a real playmat and some packs. All pretty affordable ways to play the game with friends if you just want some decks to play some games!

      @@Sloopdoop Thanks for replying ,so i talked with the guy in facebook he has like 800 cards from tales of aria and i think its first edition. I think he has no clue about the game ,he just sell staff. I also found a store in my city that host beginner games every Thursday and also tournamens. The hype is real hehe.

    I have 2 questions,1.does ira welcome deck are sold as blitz deck or do you need to print the card yourself? 2.can i find ira, red haze in welcome to rathea booster deck or every card are randomly available in history pack 1?

    • @Sloopdoop
      @Sloopdoop  ปีที่แล้ว

      Ira Welcome Decks are given away for free at local game stores if they have them. It's not a Blitz deck though, as it has 3 copies of each card (Blitz is 2) and has no equipment. However I do have a video on how to upgrade the Ira deck into a Blitz deck. If you're looking for the hero and her cards though, Crucible of War has most of hers, and Welcome to Rathe has good Ninja cards. I would recommend History Pack 1 so you can get cards from both sets
