Would you consider acid washed jeans as mandatory for this sort of repair? :) I love these old videos. Some of us still work on old bikes.

I came here to see how he got the clip out of the chock body. I bought their tool, and chipped it trying to come from the bottom of it. I did not use much force, (as I know it is thin), so I doubt the $35.00 tool is heat treated properly for toughness. But, even with the tool partially chipped, I got the clip out from working the top side,----easily.
Would have been nice if the tool came with some short instructions. With the bend at the end, I thought it was designed to tackle the clip from the bottom.

Fashion Judge? Me too. Natural hair, no tats, or metal stuck in the face.
You can change a shirt easily when it gets dirty. This is what a human being looks like. I bet he can also do math, and figure out what bathroom to go to also.

That is what you see huh? The shameless private business that the bum marx hated, (that commie guy who hated private business and private property that got mankind out of poverty.), for showing us how to work on our shock. And what a greedy bunch of bastards, making and selling the correct tools for the job, right? Well, I finally got that damn clip out of the shock body, so sue your school for not learning the right things. Well kid, you may find in the future that if we don't trade with money, we trade with blood. Good luck with that. Race Tech! It is a pleasure doing business with you,------------------while we still can. Doug in Michigan
