awesome content as always! an extra tip when making hands that i do is to make sure they are all facing the same way (all palms to the left or the right) and fingers pointing the same direction, really helps when animating so that i dont have to flip hands every other cell.
@@ZeBirdBrain Oh hey yeah! just to ask, i have this problem where i was trying to add two nodes into one layer, like glowing eyes that have motion blur. So i both added them into the composite and to the layer itself, so as i did it, it only does either one of them. Any way i can try connect them somehow or if there is a video of it to be easier for you?
I alway put the circle for the pivot point on the underlay but this leads me to have to use colore selection or straight up delete the circle and then cry when i need it… your solution of just having a drawing subs for it… just blew my mind. Exactly like cutting the composite for the anti-alias. You make my life easier bit by bit can’t thank you enough!

Don't worry :) I always share the speed slowing trick because some people don't know youtube can do that :O If it helps, I speed up my video by 20%... so if you put em at 75% you shoul dget more or less the actual speed of the recording :) Have a lovely day !
Pretty useful system! The setup would be a bit tricky if one uses separate filters on the colour and line-art layers (like an automatically coloured outline that I use). Nevertheless, the idea is right and helps a lot. Liked everything except for the scary predators that appeared suddenly at the end of the video.
Like I said, it is a set up to use if you don't use the OL and UL for something else! And always check with your comp team before. You can also use two drawing layers and sync them, which I will show in a future video! ^^
Reserving a drawing for the pivot point and the dot indicator that the hand is multi layered is brilliant!

Can you not just use the overlay node on the original hand drawing instead of the clone? Is there a significant difference?
