I'm wondering how to relate to your viewers'problem if you're an entertainment channel. I'm having a hard time thinking of framing that without making it humorous.
I love that woman! ❤ I often think of her. In fact, I thought about her this Sunday morning, with a certain stressful situation that happened. I remember I heard her tell a story, of when she had reached burnout, and she was almost going to quit, but her husband gave her sound advice to just take a break and rest, and she said that was the answer- resting and not quitting. It really impacted me in how I think about certain situations. To not make drastic decisions when you're feeling emotional and are mentally drained. God bless you both!
My biggest takeaway from this episode was that every piece of content should follow the follow: Problem, Solution, Action, and that the action does not have to be a CTA towards a sale...just application of what you taught the audience. This was an AWESOME piece. Thanks!
Golly, Christy is confident, knowledgeable, and likeable! Awesome! Helpful! AND, I love her chattiness; not simply chatter, but authentic, story-telling, and engaging personality!
Great insights on public speaking for TH-camrs! To add to that, one advanced tactic is to incorporate storytelling with a 'message map'. This helps to create a clear, concise message that sticks with your audience, making your content more memorable and impactful.
Thank you for this podcast. I just started my yt journey less than 2 months ago. I am teaching people how to cook. I wanted to tell stories, but I was afraid I might lose people. I have a lot of personal stories surrounding what I teach. I needed to hear this. I'll start implementing these tips. ❤
I have been a big fan of Christy since she first started at Ramsey. I had wondered where she went, lol! So excited to see her today and I must say this has been the most valuable video I've watched in a long time. So awesome to see Christy is STILL killing it!!! ❤
Sean, this is awesome and timely needed. I have a first time speaking engagement with the Oklahoma Department of Education with about 600 across the state online by Zoom will be in attendance. This will be an awesome opportunity that will open their minds and touch their hearts. “Walking away with a different thought process (mindset) and purpose/mission. This video is what I need to hear right now. She is phenomenal!!! Thanks for the continued trainings. 🙏🏽 I’m excited, and I will listen to this video each day up to the day I give my presentation. I saved this video in my training section. Pray for me. 🙏🏽😊
Sean and Christy, you two shared so much wisdom and expertise in this message. I am sharing this with my commercial real estate team and my kids so that we can use stories to influence others. Thank you so much for providing such high value content. I am inspired and grateful. I am also going to check out the Speaking Starter Kit!
Focused on 1 point per video is great advice. I've always thought 3 to 5 is perfect but have 1 topic and creating a solution to that for each video makes sense.
The story arch BLESSED MY LIFE!!!!! She legit answered a prayer and gave me clarity on why some things click and some don’t and the level of inconsistency in my presentations. She needs a tithe link !
Wow what a great episode I’m on my second time around. So engaging and helpful and her eyes are mesmerizing and stunning. Very much like a white walker. ❤
This episode with Christy has been incredibly inspiring, helpful and engaging and one I’ve needed to kick-start my own Vlog. Thank you Sean and Christy
4:18 With practice you get good! 😆🌞 7:02 "No one is going to see a movie called: Mission Totally Possible" You know, that is actually a good title idea for something.... 😼😏 9:13 Problem, Solution, Action. 🎬 25:53 It will be really hard to charge, if you are always doing things for free. I agree with Christy's stance on this. ✋🏾 Do not have other make you work for free, when you are a professional at something. 🚫💰 31:21 Yeah Christy, you do talk pretty darn fast... 😅 But her fast speech does add to her lively personality. 👍🏾 35:38 "Why is story so effective? Since the beginning of time, Jesus told stories" You know? 🤔 That just goes to show how storytelling remains a timeless tactic to reach people. 📖
"Let your speech always be with grace, as though seasoned with salt, so that you will know how you should respond to each person." (Colossians 4: 6) Blessings to you. Pastor John
Love the content. I might be particular but wouldn’t it be great if this pro level speaker had halfway decent audio? Tough to listen to this all of the way through.
Thank you so much❤ i am always working on my communication 😊 i teach oil painting. My students love when i verbally explain. My channel is growing after. Stil dont have the watch hours. But ive reached over 1300 subs. I have a few ranked videos. To get watch hours im thinking of uploading a few REAL TIME teaching videos. These would be maybe over an hour time each to get those watch hours for getting monotized. I would love your our thoughts on this ??
I watched this video everyday until I have my talk with the Oklahoma Department of Education that was watched by several hundred people across the state live on March 5th. This video y’all produced Sean, kept me motivated and focused. Here’s the link to my talk that’s now part of the State Agency’s archive. Here’s my story talk, and thank you. 🙏🏽 th-cam.com/video/ZPnqgEeWdZE/w-d-xo.htmlfeature=shared
But how do you show up when after years you have not got to even 300 subscribers Apart from the click baits that most monitized channels do is there really a way to make money on TH-cam with less than 500subscribers??? At least to keep us going
With all due respect. Yes you are very highly skilled in what you do but also honestly specifically in this video, I find your speaking very intimidating , overwhelming even. Yeah maybe you just talk too fast.

The most powerful part to me is understanding the power of stories! I'm excited to apply this principle on my next video.

Hello from Sheffield, UK! 👋
Wow! So much value. I had to keep pausing and replaying in order to take notes. Awesome. I'm a new fan.
Me too! I have replayed the video 3 different times today but each time I've had to pause and rewind, lol! She is so full of knowledge!
I can't agree less
She must be VERY GOOD if Sean himself looked at her with such respect. It was interesting to see it from the outside...

This was a MASTERCLASS 🔥
I'm not nervous, I've never been scared of public speaking, but my issue is I'm always saying umm.
So umm... I need to fix that 😂
Brilliant!
