I love how passionate John Daly looks reading and sharing historical events from a news source, what an adorable man.

I agree Eric. In 1983, I took my parents to see Phyllis Diller at the Chateaux de Ville in Framingham, MA. I laughed so hard I was in pain. We met her backstage when I bought her book and she signed it. My mother said, “You are so beautiful.” Phyllis looked at me and said, “Listen to her. Ha, ha, ha!”

A very intelligent lady as well. Her interviews give great insight to how she was behind her comic persona.

Henry Armstrong, wow, what an interesting achievement! Godfrey was a damn good panelist. Nice to see Mr. John Charles Daly and Phyllis Diller.

Thank you Gary! I was actually reading something about the Maine and Roosevelt yesterday. And thought "sounds like something John would use in this section"

Phyllis knew their secret-the mother and all the sisters were bald. She is hilarious.

I tried Googling Adele Petroski, and came up zilch. I guess she didn't go on to be one of the world's great dressmakers. Quelle domage!

corner moose Try Edal Petroski. I found her father's obituary.

At the time of her father's death in 2006, Edal was living in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. Her husband, John Evans, was deceased. There was no other information about Edal in her father's obituary. Her father, who was a highly decorated veteran of World War II and a carpenter by trade, was survived by his wife, four sons, five daughters, four foster sons, and 13 grandchildren.

Loved this show, i had never heard of it before, i began watching episodes of " What's my line?" as this show became a side suggestion. ..... Adele was so talented, bless her! .... The only thing i did not like though, was Phyllis Diller raining on Adele's parade, by saying, as she and her family members were about to leave the set, she thought the answer was going to be, Adele and her mother were bald, as this silly statement could've very easily caused Adele to be mocked at school by her jealous peers' thus, tarnishing her beautiful experience. I hope not though! I'm sure Ms Diller meant no harm, but i still thought it was a daft statement to make! .... Thank you from The UK, for sharing these great vintage programmes for us to enjoy! xxxxx

This. . . isn't even supposed to be a public video. I haven't even watched this one myself yet (hence the lack of any description, and the useless title. . . ) It has 442 views by now, so I guess I'll leave it up. . . Anyone want to write a description for me? I can't focus on watching this now, with everything that's going on with the false copyright claims on the WML videos.

It would've been difficult for Arthur Godfrey to save face after the "swansong" controversy, but that moment notwithstanding he proved to be very knowledgeable and shrewd with his observations.
    Cases in point - 11:14, 18:14 and 21:10.

Hello What's My Line! Is there any way I can view your episodes? They are not available to me anymore - says "Private". I have been a subscriber to your TH-cam channel for a long time. I have also been interested in the IGAS episodes, and now that you are putting some up, I would really love to see them. Thanks!

Kathy Collins I'm sorry to say that the videos that are private now are due to totally baseless copyright claims made by Fremantle International. I'm doing everything I can to resolve this, but everything about how TH-cam works is stacked against me. In the meantime, 90% of the videos are still public-- over 700 WML episodes and all the extras I've posted-- so I hope you'll continue to enjoy what's still available.
