These exercises are great for everyone, from beginners to more advanced athletes. I still do these now, and even though they look easy, you will feel the burn! The key to jumping higher is to focus on using the correct muscles. Once you can do that, and build the strength and endurance in those muscles, you will notice a big difference in your power and in your ability to move.
Hellow mam.. I have a good jump but when I spike the ball my I am not able to convert my horizontal speed or approach speed into vertical jump . Can u please solve my problem.
For me, the music is just right for this (and many other) kinds of workouts where it allows us to focus on form. I would love the music source... of course I can look up some on my own. But this has a nice blend of cello, guitar etc.
Thanks for your videos! I have a son in Club vball now and daughter starting soon. But please either get a lav mic or a better directional mic so we can hear you better. :)

I would start out by making sure that you let the set happen before leaving on your approach. If your timing isn't good, you will have trouble maximizing your speed and jump height.

Hi! How many sets and reps should I do for these exercises ?
@@onlykyqq For the drop jumps, do 2 or 3 sets of 6. For the box jumps, one set of 10-12 reps each. Three times per week is good.

These videos are really helpful, thank you!
Glad you like them!
Do you have a recommended number of sets and reps I should do this? As for frequency I assume 3x a week is good enough ?
Ok, this was amazing. Thanks, Sarah!

Oh I'm so glad!! Thanks!
Thank you for these exercises, please more and also what brand is the black jump box you are using. thanks again
The black box is UCS Strength. You can also find plyo boxes on sites like Titan Fitness, PRX, or Rogue. I hope that helps!

How can do smash in volley ball..
Stay tuned! I am making a video for that!
I'm sorry if you already said it, but how many reps of each exercise and how many sets
You could probably do this series 2-3 times per week, one set per day. 10-15 reps of each exercise is good.
Excellent, thank you!
