      an EMP weapon produces a pulse of energy that creates a powerful electromagnetic field capable of short-circuiting a wide range of electronic equipment, particularly computers, satellites, radios, radar receivers and even civilian traffic lights. so it effect the nano bots

    One thing no one is talking about is how the EMP watch fries the bionic eyeball but the earpiece inside Bond's ear is nice, and working. I can ignore nanobots not getting destroyed because EMP destroys electronic circuits and I dont' know if nanobots have circuits.

    • @Krazy_Kompilations
      @Krazy_Kompilations 3 ปีที่แล้ว +18

      Every device have circuit otherwise how you'll pass any signal. The only difference is, everything is in the range of lengths of nanometre, which is super small,that's it.

    • @niranjanr8075
      @niranjanr8075 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Well they do have circuits but the thing is, at nanoscale particles behave different. So you can convince yourself that they behave differently to EMP

    • @DhavalShukla
      @DhavalShukla 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You see, Nanobots could be operated by quantum quarks. That's a whole other argument about EMPs designed for the Nano materials but he could really be able to get rid of these bots the same way you ping a computer... And run algorithms to control robots. Definitely it would require a hardware like super computers and whatnot but that's possible.
      Now imagine what kind of movie that might have been.... A spy is on a journey to get his life back, to get his wife and daughter back and get rid of this curse of Nanobots out of his skin and having to break into highly protected and secure Supercomputer facilities and whatnot....

      They also said Bond was just out of Time; the missiles were fired and then Safin closed the door. Bond knew returning to the control meant he wouldn't get off the island but he heroically did it anyway. By that time he was already as good as dead. I read the moment as Bond accepting his fate and choosing to spend his last moments talking to the woman he loved about the child he was grateful to have. Sure he could have made a desperate scramble to escape but he could never have been with them. It was ultimately a no-win scenario.

    This whole discussion surrounding the Craig Bond story between Achara and Jaby just reminded me of just how forgetful his whole run as Bond really is. He's got maybe two and half good movies in this series and almost none of the plot, characters or anything really stayed with me. And I've watched them all. I remember the Villain from Skyfall and the girl from Casino Royale, that's about it. Oh and I remember the ball breaking scene from Casino Royale as well 😂😂. But that's about it, nothing else. James Bond used to be a loved franchise for me. I remember a lot of the old Bond Movies, especially the Brosnan ones. Craigs run just sucked.

    Hey Achara, Jaby, luv the channel, fan from Ireland, luv these videos, finally saw Bond so had to watch ur reaction to Ryan's Pitch Meeting. I liked the film, it was entertaining but nothing special, i totally agree with u Jaby, i didnt remember what happened in the previous movie, apart from the voice and the mask i found Saffen to be a terrible pointless villian, didn't understand why he didnt age, why he cared so much about a woman he saw as a child 30 years ago, why he wanted to destroy the world, why he went to all this trouble to get Madeline and her kid and then loose interest in them 5 mins later or why destroying Bond and making him suffer became such a priority...i agree first half great, i did spot the camera eye going unnoticed which made no sense. The movies second half and especially the end just seemed uninteresting and rushed just to finish the film off...Achara talking about these incredible once in a lifetime loves he has with two women he spent a few hours with i agree makes no logical sense...the most expensive movie of 2020, 2021 should of used some of the money to hire another script writer, i know the woman that writes Killing Eve and Fleebag killed it with tv but maybe movies are not her bag...Spoiler, no more Bond films cause of what happened to him...take it easy Guys🤗

    The EMP thing was really an obvious dud: there's no way these tiny robots could have EMP shielding.
    But that Bond did not try to get away at the end is very logical. Remember: it's not only that he can't touch either Madeleine or Mathilde, but it was explained that the nanobots transfer to anyone he touches and from there to the next until they find their target. And this is just too great a risk to take, as it would be virtually impossible to ensure that they will never find their way to either of them.

    Would an EMP pass through a person’s body? If the nanobots were in his blood, then getting zapped with a defibrillator could work. But it was about skin contact, so they couldn’t be in his blood. If they’re just scurrying over his skin, then surely a magnet might work, or a powerful x-ray. I’m sure there are ways of getting rid of nanobots.

  • @arthurcamargo8416

    The "kid" had Madeleine's DNA. That's how he, in the end, (spoiler) killed James.... James had used the EMP watch earlier to kill "Robert DeNiro from Rocky and Bullwinkle" and it exploded his eye. An EMP would not do that, of course, but if the movie followed the same logic, it would have shredded James from the inside out. On the other hand, he would have scrambled the programing in the nanobots to no detrimental effects to him. He would just have to make sure his entire body was covered by the EMP radius, which Q certainly could have accomplished. Think of the Sentinels in The Matrix. It would have had the same effect. I was thinking about that in the movie.... I wondered if the watch only had one shot...

    Bond probably wouldn't have made it anyways cause he had to go back and open the doors again after the missiles were already shot. And he was shot a few times himself so honestly they didn't really need the plot point of poisoning bond with the nanobots. That probably wouldve worked better if they used that plot point but bond survived. He would live on yes, but not be able to spend the rest of his days with the one genuinely good thing that's happened to him his whole life.

    2:20 First of Spoilers to those who did not watch either SPECTER OR NO TIME TO DIE
    Mr. White is not Bond's friend he just ask Bond to protect his daughter since White somehow pissed of Blofeld as well and Blofeld wanted to kill White's daughter which happens to be Madeline Swann. Also since White sent Vesper to spy on Bond maybe him trying to errr be involved with Madeline was a way to get back at him
    Which means White must be rolling in his grave since he asked of all people Bond to protect her. That is like if Bond was in a medieval period and M ordered his mission was to protect a virgin princess and ensure her virginity is safe as well as her life. The mission is going to fail since yeah she may live but if you expect Bond to keep her virginity safe. Not gonna happen its JAMES BOND when has he not done a one night stand.

      Too old now and too well known. They’ll go for someone who is a bit fringe like Craig and the others were before they became Bond.

    You should remember that those nanobots spread like crazy just by touch, so forget James Bond not touching her wife and holding her daughter, at that time he was the only one who was infected. If he left the island and touched anyone else there was a huge risk of getting his loved ones killed.

    That question was/is bothering me, even now
    How come you didn't think of that 😫

    Xenobots... Those are part organisms, trained through algorithms to perform certain tasks.
    Yes. Nanobots would be disabled pretty instantly by EMP. So I was as well frustrated that there was not any need for Bond to die. Just use his watch again to get rid of the Nanobots. Which I was like the most stupidest thing ever. Sigh. People do love hero's unnecessary sacrifice I guess

  • @naveenreddy58

    If the nano bots are organic, then emp wouldnt work, but if they are just piece of machinary event at nano scale emp would kill them

    Someone mentioned in the comments of the video that Bond could'n touch NO ONE because they could touch Madeleine at some point of their life.

    The reason Bond didn't try to save himself was because he could never touch the woman and daughter he loved and also could not touch anyone else because the nanobots would transfer to them and then to others and eventually someone would touch Madeleine and Mathilde and kill them

    There have been other characters in movies who have children, but because of who or what they do they can't have a real relationship so they stay in the shadows and watch over them.

    It's completely ripped off Metal Gear Solid

      Although it was a bit vague, it was explained. His family was killed by spectre. So he wanted to kill all such criminals. That's why he said, i am just like you bond.
