I do like pressing these curves open, the curved pieces just magically open even before the point of the iron reaches it! Easy! 🕵️‍♀️💜

i pin as you do and use a zipper foot to avoid squashing the "full ruffles". This prevents pinching the fabric under the foot.

What size stitches are you using? How many to the inch?

Standard stitches you'd use for any piecing. We use 2.5 on our Bernina.
