-How many squares do I need for a baby blanket?
This can vary, it really can be however big or small you like, but i generally do 4x4 or 5x5.

-How many chains shall I do for a *single/double/etc' blanket?
Again, this can vary. I would suggest that you do your chain and lay it down agains the bed you are wanting it for. It should be the same width. You should then ad a few more to make it a little wider.

I personally started out with normal sized yearn and had no problems.
Buetiful
Thank you :)
really easy tutorial, thank u. is there any way i can attach this to my bag though? like for it to act as a strap! should i not weave the ends in and use the tails to sew into the bag?
You're welcome, I'm glad you like it 🙂 Yes, I would leave a long tail at either end that you can use to sew and secure the cord onto a bag.
Gonna make a crochet bag this is ideal thank you sarah jane
You're very welcome :)
wow
That is very pretty! What kind of yarn and color are you using? And the size of needle, I haven’t tried crocheting with chunky yarn yet.
I'm sorry I really can't remember that colour of the yarn I used, I used Stylecraft Special Chunky which requires a 6mm hook (US 10) I hope this helps :)
Perfect chord 😊 I figured out that if after turning and working into second loop from hook, I pull those two side loops up a bit from the other side, is a lot easier to insert the hook then.
Or go with a size or two smaller hook than recommended for the yarn and just work more loosely.
Hi. Can. You make a video on how to join the cord from both sides for example to make a bracelet
Is there a way to crochet this so you attach it to a swivel hook clip as you crochet it? That way I can create shoulder straps for handbags that are interchangeable
You can work crochet around hooks and hoops no problem; just work your crochet over the hoop as you go so that it is contained within the stitches 😊
Lovely looking hook too chick , where could we find these ?? Xxxx
I really liked this design how can I make it a keychain how can I fasten it to the round keychain.
You would need to crochet through the ring so your stitches are worked around it - if you hold the ring behind your work, pass your hook through it to make your stitches 😊
UK
Is there any way to make this cord wider?
To make the cord thicker you can use a bigger hook and/or thicker yarn 🙂
I’m trying this, but it sure is not pretty like yours. Three times. Not sure if I’m too loose or too tight.
It's hard to say for certain without seeing a photo but I would experiment with a different hook size, smaller and larger. The type of yarn used can also affect the overall finish 😊
Bella Coco I finished one. It is not pretty like yours, but I do think the yarn is my problem. I used a suede yarn. Thank you for answering my message. Love Bella Coco!
How can make wristlet out of this cord?
