At last !!! Thank you. You highlighted the V of the stitch and showed the vertical stitch to use in front of it. I have lost count of how many videos I've watched with this cord crocheting. I just couldn't get it. Last few days it has frustrated me and I just couldnt work out why I just ended up with a knotted mess. Now I always check I'm doing it right by looking for the 2 stitches at front of the V. Finally getting it right 👍 Thank you 😁
Thank you, June. You're were clear, and to the point. Love the effect of visually highlighting the important and critical stiches. You made it so easy! Enjoyed your British accent as well as your soothing voice. Kudos!
Thank you soooo much! this video is the first one that makes since and by highlighting the stich you are referring to in the beginning help so much more then any other video I've watched
Omg thank you! Five videos later I finally ran across yours and caught on. Thank you for highlighting and doing it at a detailed pace for us to understand it! ❤️
I very much appreciate how you highlighted the important areas to be sure we were identifying the correct pieces of the yarn. This was very fun and much easier to learn than I at first thought it would be!
Thank you! You provided a fantastic, easy tutorial & all the tips were brilliant for someone new. Things many overlook and assume will naturally make sense to everyone.
I actually love this channel you take time to really explain, not subtitles, and you HIGHLIGHT stitches😭I can’t tell you how many times I messed up cause they would go fast and not explain what stitch and I have to rewatch some videos on slow playback but yours is absolutely wonderful.
Well done! This Is the best crochet tutorial I have every seen, everything was explained well and made clear and I love how you added the highlighted lines onto your video, that made it easy to understand what you were saying. And your voice is very soothing. Well done, you have a new subscriber!
Wow, excellent 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼. I can say that, of all the many, many, many videos I've seen, this is the best! Good description, precise and as slow and fast as necessary. Congratulations!!!
Oh my Goddesses! I love it. I can't make an I-cord too many thumbs I guess.😅 But this I can do and the highlighting really helps. No extra thumbs in the way with this beautiful cord . I am using it today to make feet on a prehistoric bird and a little pocket doll's arms and legs. And I learned something new today so I can check that box for the day.Ty
June! Thanks! I'll make dog collars and leashes for small dogs! I volunteer at a local canine ranch for senior and disabled dogs! And hey, I really love your work and patterns!💖
Thanks! Had to go through several videos before finding yours. Your graphic for identifying the correct loops is genius. Should be compulsory for all crochet videos. I'm a fan forever!
I'm so glad you like it! As far as I know, I'm the only person to do that. It takes much longer to make the video, but I think it's worth it to make the techniques completely clear :)
Thank you so much for the excellent tutorial! I have been trying to figure oyt making a vird and could never understand the instructions. Your tutorial has nade it so clear and simple 😊
Excellent tutorial. I learned to make the cord years ago to make Romanian Point Lace, but the explanation of how to start the cord was very complicated with bad pictures (it was a printed version). I could never remember it when I started a new project. You have made it perfectly clear! I really appreciate your tutorial! Thank you! I see more lace projects in my future.😀👏
June Gilbank, thanks for the tip. I’ll have to see if I can figure out the difference and make the correct beginning. Good to have your tip before I wasted a lot of work! Best regards, Peggy
Thank you for the clear explanation and highlighting. Using this as the handle on my water bottle sleeve. Nice and sturdy, no stretching. Subbed for more tips :-)
Hello! I'm making the Crafter Granny, pattern by Zhaya and she refers to this tutorial to make this to go around the bun of the dolls hairdo! Perfect! Thank you for sharing!
After taking a beginner class at Michaels I am "hooked". Saw this video and was glad it was easy to follow, especially for a beginner such as myself. If I wanted to make this a bracelet or necklace, how would you attach to clasp? Thanks in advance for the tips!
I'm with everyone else!! You are extremely proficient in explaining! Very easy to follow, not too fast or slow & great voice!!! Thank you!! Now a question, what gauge hook are you using? THANK YOU again!
KK :) THANK YOU! Yeah, my grandmother started teaching me when I was 6 & just recently got back into it (I'm 50!!! lol) just wanted it as close to yours as I could be. Instead of testing was lazy & asked lol After she died I lost my interest b/c it was something we did together. Thanks again!
Hello, Thank You, So Much :) This was very easy for me to learn from you. It is turning out perfect for the drawstrings I'm going to use on a large crocheted bag
I saw in your pattern to use mercerized cotton in DK/light #3 yarn, or size 3 crochet thread.. I have size 3 crochet thread and your bracelet photos .. the yarn or thread looks much thicker than when I begin the cord.. I don't understand how it looks so much thicker if you used size 3
excellent tutorial, can't wait to try it and make one for my just turned teenage granddaughter. its hard to find something I can craft for this age. one suggestion is how do you complete the cord into a bracelet. Thanks for all you wonderful tutorials.
