    Your tutorials are super awesome! Youve taken me from only doing horrible stuff out of just the slip stitch, to just having finished a thing out of the treble stitch, that ACTUALLY has straight edges, and having a favorite stitch! Thank you so much!!!

    Thank you so much for showing this I was trying to remember how to crochet an i-cord the other day and I just couldn't remember for the life of me. I'm much more familiar with knitted I chords. So thank you I'll put this on my saved tips list.

    This is so awesome, I have never seen an I*cord (well, I have probably seen them and not known what it was) and I found it by accident looking for another pattern. Can't wait to use this for all sorts of things. Thank you for the simple and clear video.

    I am doing a WestKnits shawl and someone suggested crocheting the i-cords instead of knitting them, as someone who does both crafts I loved the idea. Thank you so much for this great tutorial to add to my toolbox!

    Thanks! I crocheted my first i-cord from written instructions (no pictures or illustrations) about a month ago ... ripped it apart several times over 3 days. Visual aids definitely needed the first time around!

    I've been crocheting for 57 years and have never seen an I-cord, that I know of! Just started crocheting amagarumi toys for babies in my family. Didnt know what to use for around their neck, that looked cute. I've seen videos on these but didn't have a need for them. So I just watched 5 videos on I-cords and yours is easiest to follow. I'm going to try it and see if it will work for what I need. Its kinda crazy how you crochet it but I can see it looks like knitting. Very cute. Thank you for the great video with clear instructions.

    Of all the i-cords videos I watched, I found your method of pinching the 2 loops with your fingernails the easiest. I was getting so frustrated that I was shopping for a machine that makes them. Thank you very much for this video.

    I love the I-cord. I’m trying out this tutorial for my 4th of July reading glasses strap. I discovered that if I put a stitch mark on the loop farthest from hook it won’t get away from me. It eliminates of having to start all over again 😃.

    I found that using a DPN in a size close to the hook to hold the two stitches when you take them off to be super helpful, especially if you're making a thick cord holding a few strands of yarn together.

  • @jolenelarson469
    @jolenelarson469 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    I think it's fun to use the little I cord makers with the crank. But, you can't use all thicknesses of yarn with those, so this is good to know how to do. I'll use this when finishing off a potholder. Thank you!

    Thanks. I am thinking of crocheting toddler mittens for my grandson and would like to attach each to I-cord ends. Thread each mitten down a jacket sleeve with the I-cord extending from one mitten, around the inside back of the jacket, down the sleeve to the other mitten. No more lost mittens!
