I think it's actually back to school that might give me a nervous breakdown! With a new kindergartener who is not really sure she wants to be there, dance, soccer and baseball schedules, husband and oldest son birthdays this month, and trying to convince the kids that riding the school bus isn't actually the end of the world, I've got my hands full. Oh yeah, that's not counting a very mischievous 3 year old who continually thwarts my efforts at productivity. 😬😆
@@cherellzandell oh deeeeear you certainly have your hands full, good luck!! My 3YO productivity thwarted just turned 4 and is in preschool now and I swear it’s making all the difference in the world to have some time where there isn’t a kid constantly yelling for me, haha

The sun and warmth are gone so I’m back to fish projects and this is so so relatable! After watching this I will stop procrastinating on those outside of tank fish projects!
I totally get the list check off feeling, it's like if you don't make a list, and check off the tasks, that feeling of accomplishment just isn't there! plus you can say oh that's just a little job, let's get that done today also, and before you know it, the list is done. Feels sooooo good! 😊. Give yourself a pat on the back!

Great adjustments. 👍The metal air valves look fancy, but I found out that they leak air from the factory, and over time they can rust. The plastic air valves do not leak air, they are easier to adjust, they can't rust, and they are cheaper as well.
I love how the little changes made things more organized and made the room that much more enjoyable. I definitely need to look for little solutions in my spaces now
Your diy solutions are always so effective and elegant. You always go above and beyond and I was really glad to see your video pop up. You have way more energy and patience than I do and I kinda live for it.
Those little holes on the vertical parts of your metal rack, can hold screws, so you could have put that power strip there, instead of behind it on the wall.
Based on my experience with the garage temp + insulated garage door, it doesnt exactly prevent extreme heat during summer. It helps it slow down the heat but it will still get warm and toasty if the heat lasted for days. The real solution is to have those semi-portable sliding A/C units you can just roll out during summer.
I'd settle for a slowdown! That afternoon sun is just killer. Like if it can prevent the heat from building up too much before the sun sets, then I can open the garage door a bit to get the cool evening air in. That's the goal at least

nope! I get "mom guilt" if I sit still. Like, oh my goodness I could be doing tasks and getting ahead right now, that sort of feeling. I think it's a problem
I think you want the light to shine the bottom of the brine shrimp hatchery and not the top since the brine shrimp are attracted to light and you want them to concentrate at the bottom of the hatchery.
Yeah that could be a time saver for harvesting, but oh well. I've just been draining all but the top quarter inch into my coffee paper filter and calling it done
This may sound a little A.D.D.ish but what if you screwed or zip-tied a small block of wood to your PVC pipe so the Brine shrimp hatchery was at a perfect 90 degrees. I love how you "fine-tune" everything, it really makes a difference.

Hi Taylor I’m in the same situation. I need to declutter to. I just spent the last weekend at The Keystone Clash now being lazy got to start water changes.
Hope you had a good time! This summer I traveled three different times for a week each, it was SO HARD prepping to leave, them coming back and having to catch up on top of all my other kid-rearing chores! Get those water changes done, you'll thank yourself!
hehe thank you. I use a canon m50, and I switch between the stock lens, a nifty 50 lens, and one of those sigma 18-35mm for wider angle shots. And an iphone sometimes for ease : )

How did the platnium betta spawn turn out? There's been an increased amount of them having underdeveloped eyes or no eyes. Granted, the majority are from Petsmart.

Plus insulate the wall that separates you from garage. And get a small air conditioner to stabalize your fish tank temps - just suggestions 😅

So most garages don’t have insulation in the walls, and even with that insulation you put on the door it won’t help much at all.
Mine does! It’s well-insulated except that door. Fingers crossed it makes a difference, even if it’s only like ten degrees
