opening 3 wheel Durham lock box without combination

easy quick way to open a Durham lockbox without combo or attempting to spin wheels to figure it out. This doesn't find the combo, this just opens the box.
I tried to find the combo from other vids by setting all numbers to 0, then one number at a time spinning the 3rd wheel 0-9 (with 1st and 2nd wheel at 0) keeping upward pressure on lid, once getting back to 0, setting 2nd wheel to 1, back to 3rd and going 0-9 again, 2nd wheel to 2, 3rd 0-9 and so on. once you got to 099, set the 1st wheel to 1, 2nd to 0, and 3rd wheel trying 0-9 and repeating this sequence all the way to 999.
this did not work for this box. I eventually used a small flat blade screwdriver and with the right pressure it popped, once open I examined the mechanism and found a much easier way with no potential damage using nothing more than a pin.

Thank you so much for this video. I recently found a similar box in a basement filing cabinet. It belonged to my father who passed away seven years ago. Using the method shown in this video I was able to open it in seconds.

I used your method to open my grandfathers lock box. To reset the code, I used a quarter to push the reset lever to the up position, change the lock to what I wanted, and pushed the lever back to the normal position.

After you crack it open like that how do you change the code? Is there a video for that?

So obviously, I'm not a professional (anything) video guy, I considered remaking this and trying to keep everything in focus and blah, blah, blah. I decided not to because it shows enough and the desired end result.
I still don't know the combo, even though once opened I have access to the reset lever. I tried keeping pressure in on that lever and doing the scrolling method other videos show to see if the lever would pop over and up to reset. It didn't happen, so unless I'm just doing it wrong, that method is useless for this style lock box.

I have one of these (my dad's) and in order to reset the combination - you need the old one, that's the only way to get the "change lever" into the correct position to reset/change the combination.
