This method worked perfectly on a three digit combination on a suitcase lock. Removed a lot of stress and anxiety on the eve of my daughter’s trip. Cheers mate, grand job.
Just did it blind in about a minute. Cracked the code for mine in 2 first time around. You can totally feel when it starts to loosen up, just gotta go through the digits a couple times to see which section goes in order. Pretty neat, and thank you cause now I'm gonna use this for the gym locker

Damn it works with broken locks too! My code is not working anymore cuz the lock is very loose. So I did this with my eyes closed to focus on the feeling of the ‘click’ and I got it open within 10 minutes. Damn that’s amazing bro!

Just cracked a gym lock that i messed up when setting in the first code. Really works! If your lock is stuck "open" qt 180 degrees make sure to do this method when the "hook" of the lock is parallel to the lock body for it to work.
Once I realized that I had to do this in reverse, It worked like a charm! Thanks!

My mom bought a padlock that has an unsealed package, it was already used by other people in that store so it has a code. The store didn't even check this padlock before displaying it. It costs 80 pesos in the Philippines. I looked at some videos on this TH-cam then ended up here. ❤

Yeah I tried. Pull hard, turn first row until it get stuck, eg stuck between 4 and 5,the number will be 4 and then next row same until done.

Oh man this video really helped a lot. Like it actually works very well. I got lucky and managed to get my lock open in 30 seconds but I’m sure some other locks will take more or less time

Does this method work if the long metal part is not in the hole
Yes, just get the metal part aligned with the hole, push down as hard as you can, and listen for clicks as you turn each dial wheel. You can also do as described in the video, feel the dial until it is stuck. Although I recommend listening. In about 2 minutes, you may be able to get it unlocked!
If this doesn't work, then reply and I'll tell you what you did wrong.

Yeah, just push Down as hard as you can and listen for some clicks, or you can also push down and feel it get stuck.
This works only for 3 or 4 digit padlocks. Good luck!

try pushing down on the shackle instead of pulling up and going through the process.

Thank you! I had a couple locks that got messed up while trying to change the combination. They were locked in the combo-changing position. This allowed me to unlock and reset them.

Thank you! It worked perfectly on a 4 digit lock. The only difference is that if you are doing it with a 4 digit, you shouldn't wear gloves.
