Darrel D, first, great video! Enjoyed it! I'd like to share a story on how I acquired my copy of "Better Than I've Ever Been." I worked at Nike for a short time. My desk neighbor had this record on his desk. I told him I was a deejay/record collector/etc. I offered to buy it. He gave it to me. He said that one day they were just handing them out in one of the courtyards during lunchtime. He was an ultimate sneakerhead, but didn't even own a turntable. He said I would appreciate it more than him. It was a few years later when I realized the monetary value of it. However, I would never consider selling it.
Good bro. Man I was searching for the "Better Than..." when it came out, but gave up lol- Nobody had it. I don't have but familiar with most of these. The R.E.M, Kenny Parker and G Simone records I never seen. Now Hear This is fire. I do have. Part 2 let's go!!!
There is a copy of the G Simone joint on Front Page with more mixes of Music for the 90s. If you haven't got it, the Questions and Answers version only on white label from the BDP era is a must.
Thanks for the tip but the way I have them stacked, they actually lean back on the wall. they are also zip tied together and are also drilled into the studs in the wall. Thanks for stopping by.
@@allthingsdarrelld Break The Chain, it was a collaboration KRS did with Marvel in the early 90s. His alias was Big Joe Krash. Comic book came with a tape of music.
@@rbiznezz2 Oh, ok. Several years ago I had over a dozen of those Break The Chain comic books. they came with a cassette. Sadly, I sold them all on ebay and never kept on for myself. I've never seen a 12" version of it though. Thanks for watching!
The KRS loves gonna getcha....was boogie down production the producer? I believe was rap all stars or something. Kiss my mother, hugged my sister and punched my brother 🎶....always enjoyed that one
I got a rare one: Tony Touch tape 50. It was obviously a tape but it exists on vinyl. Took me years to find a copy but krs DESTROYED that group home beat ...
@@SauceSoundz I have the whole tape on vinyl ... I was after that for years but couldn't find it. Finally saw somebody posting a lot of dope records for sale so I just hit him up to ask if he had it and would sell it to me because it wasn't on the list. He had it and sold it to me. Cost me some cash though but it was well worth it ...
if u look at my top ten rappers and m,c s of all time witch i posted around ten years ago krs one is still the icing on the cake FACT 🍰...im not just number one...im five four three two and one.
