When Doing Consignment Invocing would i charge by the case or by the unit, how would that work? and for par level invoicing would i charge by the unit or the case? which would be the most efficient way of doing it? Thanks in advance
I just started a new job within a small company. They supply road and residential salt and they use roll-stock film bags. My question is they want me to do a physical count of there items they use but they have used roll-stock film bags and I’m not really sure if there is a way I can estimate how much bags are in a used roll. Any idea on how I can get a decent estimation?
Without knowing how many bags were used, it would be impossible to track how many are remaining. The only way to do this would be to use a system to pick the used backs, and track the total bags in a roll. The issue is that you don't know at which point the roll started getting used... I'm sorry I can't give you an exact answer to your questions
Good stuff man! Have you ever done an episode on loss prevention/inventory i.e. broken, damaged, defective stuff?
