    I am not a hoof trimmer, not a farmer, truly I'm actually in no related field at all. I watch because it fascinates me, and is soothing in some way. Heck my wife even started watching with me, and she hardly watches tv. All that to say we love your videos.

    Even though so few of us are around or particularly interested in livestock or any kind of farming, I think a big part of why so many people love your Steve Irwin vibe. You respect and care about the well being of these animals, want people to know what they are really like and how they exist in our world, and want to keep them as pain free as possible- teaching others to take care of the herds around them as well as you take care of the ones around you.

    Just the dark area and the crack near the front end. Edit 1: So that was what I thought was a crack, but the rest is apparently normal dark. Edit 2: I seriously enjoy the hell out of watching you carefully and skillfully shave away hoof to relieve abscesses areas. No boredom here. It’s mostly why I tune in!!

    I love that u have your kid there watching and learning. So many parents don't teach their kids where money comes from and the work ethic that will be ingrained in his mind will benefit him so much later in life. I hated having to work with my dad every summer while my friends did nothing. Now I'm so grateful I was brought up that way.

    When I watch your a,axing work, I often wonder how cows that don’t get trimmed survive painful hooves. You are a true gift to them. I always feel so great when I see the fluid drain out knowing that it’s been causing them so much pain. Thank you for your kindness.

    I was a horse trainer medical reason retired and now I'm a driver and when I'm getting stressed I turn on your channel and just listen to you and and your voice is so soothing.     Mate this is so satisfying, everything about the video, the machine noise, general farm noise, your voice, watching your knife slide through the hoof, I feel like I could look at a cows foot in a field and be like “yeah that’s deffo got a cavity”

    Poor girl. That's got to be so painful. I've had way too many skin abscesses and I know how bad they can get when they're under so much pressure. I can't even imagine having hard hoof material not even allowing for swelling.

    The control of the knife (and how sharp it is) is amazing. You can see the pieces are as thin as a sheet of tissue paper. I could actually see through them. I assume this is from much experience of how much pressure on the knife. It always impresses me to see.

    I don't find watching your work tedious at all. It's very interesting watching how you modify your approach in each scenario depending on severety and location of the injury. I've learned a lot and I live in the city, though I was a farm boy at a young age until we moved off the farm. If I were able to get a business going, hoof trimming would be an option to consider because of the interest you've peaked in me 😊
