Excellent video Brian, i am just curious that do we have to install VMware tools or virtualbox guest additions or anything like that after installing windows 10
how does this compare to using something like the GhostSpectre build of Win11 (with a lot of things already debloated)? I can see one benefit being you have control of removing what you like, but I know ChostSpectre has customization with a toolkit too... TIA
Thank you Brian that was really good Just 1 question can one install a bit of software in that process of creating an iso Eg VLC player, video editing software or anything one needs Cheers have a great day
Great video, chris titus's tool actually will note downlaod into the machine it runs on a "live state", very convinient for user and to prevent a lot of thing being left over al over the place, but user most have internet conection, minor drwaback but over all its a very good tool, I use it for all my software install and updating
That was brilliant! Really clear and easy to follow. I'm curious though if it can be done the same but including likes of games or apps installed with windows? Thanks
Thanks for sharing Brian, but one problem which I face while using this method is, when we create a new user, it will lost all of the settings that we have did. It's just applies only on the default user.
Hello ,I have a problem, I can not make an image , all the time pops up a message that the file is in use ( I mean cmd with Dism command) , I used Virtualbox
This is so good, mainly when you're doing a lot of scripts and stuff that you want every single time in your windows image. This saves a lot of time really. Thank you, this method is really simple. Quality stuff as always Britec
Hi, I'm using a script that needs the account to be created during installation. So, can I remove the account that was created before capturing the image? . Will the programs and changes be kept when I install Windows again? Even if I delete the account?
also, I've seen other similar vids about creating a custom Win iso, and they just used AnyBurn, removed the install.esd (or .wim) and replaced with the unconverted install.wim file you initially created? does either work, or in yoru experience it needs to be converted like you did in the vid? TIA
Also because u are 1 of the most knowledgeable TH-camrs I follow & subscribe to I was curious if u know, & would be willing to do a video on, how to move a game loaded drive from 1 system to another & allow the games to be detectable and accessible like in previous system? I hope u understand what I mean but basically moving a game drive from 1 windows system to another without having to reinstall all the games and data
since Edge is baked into Windows, will completely remoing it cause issues with anything, especially gaming things? (I know keeping MS Store helps with that too)
How did you maid win10 see your NVME drives? Even Win11 don't see my NVME drives and when I tried to set it up with the needed driver from Intel which showed me the NVME drive and after installing Win10, all I got is the Blue Screen Of Death all the time. By the way, I don't want Win11. It is not compatible with software I use, so Win10 only please.
If i have the ability to select my edition of windows, ex. PRO and i will install only PRO, do my settings, install my programs, it will save for only PRO version or for all of them Home,Pro,...etc ?
Is there any way to do the same things such as preinstalled apps and optimization settings using VirtualBox? I can't find the VMware free version download link. Could you make a smillar video but this time with VirtualBox, please?
Yesterday, I tried using MSMG toolkit with the iso (W11) created using uup dump to see what's new in the toolkit. Ran right into a wall bc MSMG can't even see the windows version despite there's only 1, it knows it reading from a the .wim file but no version were shown in the list to pick to modifiy
@@Britec09 just wanted to know you thought on that problem since in the past I have used the toolkit without problem windows 10 if I remember correctly. Could it be bc it's windows 11 or bc the iso is not microsoft made using media creation but uup dump script?
Which software yo use to compress the video brother? Its just over 100 MB. Can you please make a video on it. 34min video 1080P size is just 115 MB, unrealistic. Pls make a video for tht, its a request.
I much rather use a trusted custom ISO from someone else. Although you are against it Brian, I'm not. FBConan’s Windows X-Lite is excellent and you have reviewed it on this channel before.
@@Britec09 Wow, you finally agree with me when it comes to something. Shocking, normally we fight when it comes to literally everything. I'm still banned from your Discord server, lol.
Tried to do this with Windows 11 Pro but because windows has now to be encrypted I just can't get vmware to work with the current version. Any ideas are most welcome.
Gamers that use Steam you definitely want to remove One Drive. Steam games use the Documents folder for many games. One Drive will take over that folder and will cause games to crash to desktop.
Great video! I would love to see the Windows 11 version. Have a nice day!
Thanks, you too!
+1 from me. A Windows11 specific video would be superb.
+1 from me too for a windows 11 specific video
Yes please
easy for win10, im looking for win11, i tried but fail converting the install.wim to install.esd
Thank you for sharing this
🤗✌️🙏
You are so welcome
very nice, and in depth, anybody who dosn't test first using a VM is asking for trouble. Great video m8
Glad you liked it!
One for the library, thanks Brian.
I will add it to my site

One of the best video you have ever made brother. Wonderful.. Keep it up.. 👍

Excellent Brian!
Thank you kindly!
Great video, Brian. Do make another for Win 11, please.
Will do!
Sweet! 🍨
I will give this method a try ASAP!
Thanks Brian👌

Great video as usual. But I need you to make a video on how to restore or get the best display and fonts for Windows 11 for a monitor and a TV display
Great suggestion!

Great video sir! It would be great if we can get one for Windows 11. Keep up the great work.

Would it be possible to do a video for Windows 11?

Stop using Windows 7 in 2024
Pretty much.

What I need is an easy to use slipstreaming application for Windows 11.
NTLite

One small note, VMWare Workstation Pro is now free for personal use, and Player is being phased out.
I wonder if i could create a windows 10 32 bit iso so that it will boot off of an alienware area 51m 766 (made in 2004)
