It's a shame and disgusting to see that MS actually put all their effort to adding bloatware, spying processes and BS to their OSs instead of develop true utilities and better interface designs to make the user experience nicer and better, which is an insult to the people. After all that is kinda crazy that MS keep still there on top of the OS business, the benefits from being a monopoly.

What I think is funny is that they go out of their way to backport all the new ads and bloatware from Windows 11 into 10, such as search highlights, the larger widgets (news and interests) screen, Windows Backup, and copilot (although that one never showed up for me).

People, be careful when using uninstallers like Revo. Don't select all the "leftovers" and delete without checking what are you deleting because there's a slight chance of breaking something.

hello, it's the first time I see one of your videos, congratulations! do you have any videos already published, or any solution to the problem of the spotlight that always changes between the same few images? obviously a solution that is not one of those usual generic ones that are found on all the tutorials and that I have already tried... I suspect that it depends on some service deactivated for some reason but that also influences this aspect.

The only way to make Windows 10 or 11 better is to switch to a different OS. I'm 100% on Linux Mint Cinnamon now. I only watch this Windows stuff because I do PC repair/builds/upgrades in my local so I have to stay on top of things.

I don't agree that switching is the only way.
It's also a common misconception that you need a good knowledge to install linux and you need close to 0 knowledge to install windows. It's rather on the contrary, you can install linux with almost zero skills, and you need to have a lot of experience to make windows work smoothly. The author of this channel helps people to make this job done

Hmm Brian this looks a really good piece of software and frankly I think it seems to be much easier to fix those policies rather than gpedit which I have using Windows 11 Pro. Now if I download this for my Windows 11Pro instal I am assuming it will do the same thing even though I have gpedit?? Plus if those policies are changed is there any chance that any further Windows updates will change back those settings because that would be a real pain?? Now maybe a dumb question but why is there two choices i.e. Apply and OK as is it seems like double dipping??

Hej Brian thanks for the video and also your video on Windows 11 how to fix this very useful i have both a computer with windows 10 and, windows 11 what bothers me the most is the advertising in Windows 10 and Windows 11. And there will be more advertising in both operating systems in the future but luckily you can turn off the advertising in Windows but the question is how long? but right now we can turn off advertising in Windows so that's nice. I don't think advertising should be in Windows at all, advertising should only be in the Microsoft Store, I'm fine with that. Then absolutely we have a lot of tracking in Windows luckily it is possible to turn off some tracking. But tracking is everywhere mobile phones other🎉 devices and so on we have to live with that but it is possible to remove some turn off services use vpn. And absolutely Windows comes with so many apps and programs that many users don't need so yes, when i do a clean install I uninstall a lot of apps in Windows that I don't use and, you free up system resources and get a faster, smoother Windows take care Brian and have a lovely weekend.

Deltree C:\ works much better. A format can be undone, but Deltree destroys the entire directory tree and can wipe a 2TB drive in less than a minute. I use it instead of doing even a quick format ever since the command came out in either MSDOS 5.x or MSDOS 6.x.
