Love this review. I’m 42 and I’m about to get my learners in Australia. Going to look at a 2020 300nk this afternoon for my first bike. Was really worried about the seating position as I don’t want a sports bike where I’m literally laying over the bike. Love this review. Thank you so much.
Thank you very much, and congratulations! Welcome to 2 wheels! I'm glad this was available for you and was helpful. Stay safe and enjoy!
I’m 49 & haven’t ridden for 20 years, my last bike was a 2002 R1. I just bought the 2022 300NK & it’s so much fun to ride again. As he said it’s not fast by litre bike standards & you do need to keep,it in its rev band for power, but you will still get around at a fair old rate. It’s a winner for sure. It’s a perfect bike if you don’t want silly power that can lose your licence in 2nd gear & you have run by using the gears way more. Hope you enjoy it
Awesome review. Thanks for the videos. Heading to Randy’s in the afternoon to try one out. Thanks a bunch.
Hope you enjoy it! Thank you for taking the time to watch and for the comment. Stay safe
I just bought this bike.. I'm a beginner and i freaking love it..looks, easy to shift.(mind you inwas stalling all the time at my.MSF course 😅), easy to manuever, feels.premium for the price. I get the highway 25 miles daily to work and i keep it at 70 and its good for me..on the streets its just awesome..
Congrats again! That happens to all of us and is part of the process. Thank you for sharing your experience with the bike. I'm glad you are out and about on 2-wheels. Enjoy the journey and keep safe always.
Love your channel and as a new rider at age 52, your analyses to this old computer engineer are right up my alley!!!
Quick question: since you have reviewed the 2022, 23 and 24 300 NK’s, do you see any improvements they have done or fixes in the latest version vs the older model years? I figured since it’s a relatively new model, they might have refined the design for the 2024 model year….. keep up the tremendous work! Can wait for you to hit 10,000 subs!
Thank you very much and I'm glad that you have found the channel and its been helpful. 10k subs would be a major milestone and I will continue to strive to get to that level one day! Just need 130 more for 5k and I will be very happy lol. I'm just having so much fun riding the bikes and while I'm not to the level that I can get the bike for some period of time and do multiple videos on them in the future I think I would like to be able to do a first ride video like I do now(Go in Cold so we can all experience it together) and then do a more in-depth video after a week or two of riding it. Again one day.
In regards to any noticable improvements I don't think so. The vibrations were a little less on the 24 but its very small. If you can find a 22 or 23 for even cheaper then you would get basically the same rider experience. I however do like the red and grey color on the 24 more than the 22 and 23 color scheme but thats a personal thing.
I appreciate your support and welcome your feedback and ideas. Its a team effort and I know I wouldn't be able to continue to do this without everyone out there.
planning on getting for my first bike as as I've gone directly into my A2 license, i think this bike will suit Irish roads more than say US roads but im still going to upgrade to a cb500F or X sometime next year. love the look of the 300nk and i think it'll work out great for me. trained on a z400 which was good but was extremely vibrational.
I'm sure you would enjoy it. I have ridden each model you listed from different years and all are good bikes overall. All comes down to the individual and your needs in the end.
At some point I need to travel to ireland and europe and experience the roads there. Seems like such a different riding experience. I watch a few reviewers from that area and the roads seem to be smaller and travel speeds are slower but the views also seem better. Stay safe and thank you for sharing your plans. Let us know what you think about the bike you choose after you get some time on it.
Get a 450 nk, a bit more power, has a parallel twin engine with 270° crank which doesn't vibrate as much at high revs, has more technology, great for commuting, is just an overall better bike than the 300 nk, a bit more expensive too but ain't much. I bought mine from Romania with 5200$
👍
Creo que viene muy amarrada, hay hacerle algunos cambios para que de un poco más,.
Looks like a pretty decent bike to me. For that price. Why wouldn’t you get one?
The only reason I could think of is if you had to commute or do a lot of interstate riding. While it will do those speeds, you would be holding it at the top of the rpm range for a long period of time. Other than that, I thought it was great for the money. I would commute on it
have you found a aftermarket oil filter that fits? it will take 2 months from cfmoto
I've read the WIX 24944 and the KN112 fit.
