Here in India there are not much options available when it comes to menstrual hygiene. Heck where I live only sanitary napkins are available so I never even tried or saw these other options. The range of products are still being introduced here
@@neerajkumari577 but what's the point of making an video with incomplete info! Might as well not do it . They'd better gather all info, and then shoot the video in the right sequence. It looks pretty haphazard. Why would you see a video on products you already knew existed? The video title suggests otherwise
@@suegoveste9805 well I agree with you but if we notice them we can see that the video is 2 years old so 'maybe' they didn't have all of the required options available so they made one with the available ones. But let's take a moment to appreciate that they are making videos on such important topics like there which are considered really private here. And that is not even the full image. Well thanks to the Quint to atleast address such topics.
Hands down, menstrual cup is the winner. It takes just one cycle to get used to inserting and removing it but once you have learnt that, there is no going back to any of the other options. I'm using it from last 3 years and it's a boon in a woman's life. I don't even feel I'm having my period. So I just tucked it in slightly to get it out of the way. I also didn't want a string dangling between my legs when I went to a swimming pool. Anyway, I still don't see how anyone could forget that they are wearing a tampon and put another in. I mean you always exchange the old one for a new one...
I get the wetness problem with cloth pads mostly at work they feel very sweaty sometimes even with little blood. My solution is using the dusting powder from lush i just sprinkle a bit on the new pad and i stay feeling fresh and dry.
I use cloth when my flow is low 3rd and 4th day of my period. It's really comfortable and evofriendly. Must try it. Don't ever use it during heavy flow.

Sepsis shock can occur with anything left in your body long enough to breed bacteria.. Pads, tampons, cups, women use whatever is comfortable to them.. personally.. I’m wary of inserting anything inside me..during my periods.. so sanitary napkins it is.. I just use them wisely, I have different sizes for different days..
You don't insert pads into you, they stay on your underwear I agree that tampons can cause TSS if left in long enough, but most cups are made of medical grade silicon so don't harbour bacteria like tampons would
I cannot say how much I love my menstrual cup...... It's my savior.... I hate using pads now..... Pads cause so much leakage for me, I had really bad sleep with pads.... Now with menstrual cup i sleep like a baby.... U just need couple of months to get used to it.
Pads it is for me despite the cons...inserting something inside while in pain and bleeding seems foreign. Maybe tampon during the last days of a cycle is okay but that would even increase the risk of forgetting one is menstruating and leave it in for longer ...being a woman is a blessing and a pain lol agreed.

fresh smile Don’t worry😂 how old are you? I’m 13 and know that it does not take your virginity. Your hymen will stretch to accommodate the tampon. Don’t feed into that bullshit💛
fresh smile don’t worry about it. The hymen is not a big deal, it shouldn’t be related to virginity, because that way even something like cycling or gymnastics can “take” your virginity since the hymen can break in numerous non-sexual ways.

This video seemed like it's about the wide range of products used, it all started well initially but the producer has done a very bad job with product info.
If you're from India then you would know that the girls during thier period are treated like an outsider, we are not allowed to enter the kitchen or the temple and we are not allowed to touch many things because we are thought of as impure. And that is not even the full image. Well thanks to the Quint to atleast address such topics.

I m using cup and it's awesome. Thks for the innovation
I didn't even know the difference between pads and tampons so I used them interchangibly!!
Thanks Quint
Hands down, menstrual cup is the winner. It takes just one cycle to get used to inserting and removing it but once you have learnt that, there is no going back to any of the other options. I'm using it from last 3 years and it's a boon in a woman's life. I don't even feel I'm having my period. Most importantly, I have been able to sleep like a baby without worrying abt spoiling my undergarment or a bedsheet. Totally in love with my cup 😍 above all, it's environment friendly and doesn't me as well the mother earth.
Very good discussion about this issue
So much interruption in between the conversation. The yellow top girls talks a lot. It should be done more systematically.
1:46 make sure to change them for about every 2-3 hours
I have starting using menstrual cup since last 2 months and its the best decision i have ever made.I am really sad that i didn't find this earlier but its fine i am 28 now. I recommend the cup to all the girls.
How can one forget tampon inside their body.. When all the time.. The thread is hanging outside.. To remind us so 🙄
Haha exactly .. thts the stupidest statement ever....
Some women put thread inside too, because they don't like the string hanging out.
@@jwinget1999 really ? Because i find it weird..
The whole purpose of thread is to stay outside the body..
I don't see the point for these "some women " ..
Maybe.. Everyone is wierd in their own way! 😋
@@RPS-zh3bk I was one of those "some women" so let me explain. I didn't like how the string was pulling sometimes and I hated how it got all soaked and dripping when I peed. So I just tucked it in slightly to get it out of the way. I also didn't want a string dangling between my legs when I went to a swimming pool. Anyway, I still don't see how anyone could forget that they are wearing a tampon and put another in. I mean you always exchange the old one for a new one...
@@smajlik1 thanks for sharing your side of story and for not leaving me wondering for the rest of life.. 😋😅
Your discussion was so comfortable I liked it.
I get the wetness problem with cloth pads mostly at work they feel very sweaty sometimes even with little blood. My solution is using the dusting powder from lush i just sprinkle a bit on the new pad and i stay feeling fresh and dry.
Powder down there is not good for your health

Mentrual cups are literally the best, it literally needs to be reinserted twice a day 😭
I use cloth when my flow is low 3rd and 4th day of my period.
It's really comfortable and evofriendly.
Must try it.
Don't ever use it during heavy flow.
Really a great work of review on these products
Trust me cup are safest and easy. Less painful.
If you want to use pads during less flow days. Get bamboo material pads. They are biodegradable. Some come with disposable cover which are also biodegradable.
I use the menstrual cup...and omg this is life changing.. seriously I don't feel that I'm in my periods days..yes I also afraid of the whole process with the cup but girls u should give it a shot...trust me agar ek bar apne cup use kr liya I'm sure ap kuch aur nhi use krengi..it looks so scary but itna kuch nhi hota yr just first time thoda dar lgta h ek bar me na bi kr pao phir bi koshish krte rehna..trust me u are going to love this cup

Very good issue and informative topic . Thanks for this video
I have always used sanitary pads... this will be the first time i will be using a cloth pad
they are really good.. this was the first time i used cloth pads
Give a try to menstrual cup
@@shubhipathak4105 nope not comfortable for menstrual cups or tampons as we have to insert it and it's too uncomfortable 😅
@@eeshapatwal9764 Have you tried it yet?
@@shubhipathak4105 no...but it would be uncomfortable to do it
thanks for sharing about this important topic.thank u so much😃
Very nicely explained ❤
Menstrual cup gr8 during periods.I m using since 4 yrs & v comfortable & safe.
Tried tampons, tried menstrual cups .....pads r best yet
Even in TV ads pads are showed with Blue liquid not with Any Red Liquid ( I'm referring to blood ) I m in class 9th, till class 7 I used to think females cannot control washroom so they use this I used to call this diaper , in class 8th I was teached about menstrual cycle then I know that our TV ads were wrong not me
Very good initiative by #Quint on periods !
Why is one of the girl's audio muted??
#skillsapiens *i am using menstrual cup from january 2017 .and everyone should use it.but i change it every year, also it takes 5 to 30 seconds maximum only to insert and put inside.girls pls use menstual cup.use 12 hours then wash with dettol soap twice use again.and i do not feel that i have something **inside.my** 365 days of year i feel the **same.no** need of wearing panty even if you like.go swimming.*
Thank you
Sepsis shock can occur with anything left in your body long enough to breed bacteria..
Pads, tampons, cups, women use whatever is comfortable to them..
personally.. I’m wary of inserting anything inside me..during my periods.. so sanitary napkins it is.. I just use them wisely, I have different sizes for different days..
You don't insert pads into you, they stay on your underwear
I agree that tampons can cause TSS if left in long enough, but most cups are made of medical grade silicon so don't harbour bacteria like tampons would
Really informative!!
Menstrual cups lower the pain. And you won't even feel you are bleeding. Give it a try you won't regret
Use cotton pads or soft pads in order to avoid rash

Hi everyone! I want to tell you that Jesus loves you so so much and he wants to have a personal relationship with you. You know,He died for you and for your sins. He will give you eternal life if you confess that He is Lord and repent. I really think that He wanted you to see this comment.
God bless you❤
I saw you on some other channel too brother. Really appreciate your efforts to establish a relationship with God. Glory be to him with your work.🙏 Praise the lord

I just shifted to cups after 7 years of my periods spent with pads .. damnnn they areee soooooo gooooddd ❤️❤️.. btw im 18 now so my mom was like why not now would be a good time to buy cups for me.
Menstrual cups are d best using from past 1 year hands down..
Tampons really worked for me
Luv natural organic pads no plastic no odor no sweat smell
Cups are the best 😍 game changer 🔥
Which is best menstrual cup brand in India
If you have not bought, can buy from me.
For pads, go for AZAH !!! ALL THE problems mentioned above are sorted by them
I use long pad on first two days and then soft cotton pads for rest of the days..Sofy pad does not cause rashes..
I've been using tampons since I was 16.
OMG girl yes
Is it okay?? I mean what about Hymen ?? & doesn't it feel awkward like inserting something directly inside ur vigina specially when u r virgin ?? I just ve my doubts & a bit scared..
fresh smile Don’t worry😂 how old are you? I’m 13 and know that it does not take your virginity. Your hymen will stretch to accommodate the tampon. Don’t feed into that bullshit💛
fresh smile don’t worry about it. The hymen is not a big deal, it shouldn’t be related to virginity, because that way even something like cycling or gymnastics can “take” your virginity since the hymen can break in numerous non-sexual ways.
@@niamhmcgovern3293 lol m 20 😅😅 never used tampons or cups before..
Nice discussion
But i get leakage from menstrual cup. It doesn't open when get inside
It's not of your size maybe
I'm feeling bad for the slightest right girl 😂
Use cotton based pads
I am 18 n I am thinking to switch to menstrual cup..but I have a doubt does the blood from the cup backflow when you are asleep or while uh workout or something similar to that..
Idk if it's silly qstn to ask but I am really concerned about it
No it doesn't spill... I was also conscious about it at first... But not anymore....after using menstrual cup i almost forgets that i m on my periods
@@sandhyabharti6107 What about hymen. Did it break?

what i learn is- menstrual cup is different from tampoons 😅 i thought they were the same i will try menstrual cup though
it is indeed very odd that it caused infections
Can u plz suggest me good brand of hard silicon small size mensuration cup ...plz
I'm 16 year old and I'm using sirona menstrual cup in small size since 1 year, I ordered it from Nykaa
I'll highly recommend you to switch to menstrual cup ASAP, it's life changing ❤️❤️
Hey! I use Sirona cup for the past 1 year or so. They are soft and really comfortable.
I am not sure if cup works with women who have endometriosis .
Why was the lady sitting in the extreme right muted? Or was it just me?
Thank GOD I am done with all this.
No, taking out cups aren't messy if done right
Pads are safe, no washing or cleaning. With Cups you have to clean every use and tampons you can forget, and during periods forgetting is so common.
Pads cause so much landfill.
They give me worst rashes. Tampons give me freedom of any posture. I combine them with re-washble cloth pads.
I like to reduce my share of pollution.
I've my mind set on menstrual cups.
pads can cause cancer too..they are not very safe if not changed
Pads are never safe bro. Cups are lit
@@shubhipathak4105 I just got one. Nervous, but excited about using it.
Edit: cups WILL change your life. You'll never want a pad/tampon again.
They missed some cons of cloth pads....they should be washed correctly......and we do have bio degradable cotton pads......for women who are not married .....because cups are not that comfortable for them...nor the tampons.....taking out is great pain
This is good for me I am 10 years old and my name is marli😁👍🏿
I like cup
All in all...cups win .....especially in the case of married women
Superb! Kudos!
I wish they wouldn’t talk over each other 😩
For me sanitary pads r the best and one in all solution than those cloth pads, tampons, cups.
U r right dear..sanitary pads r best
Why are tampons non biodegradable? Aren't they just cotton? I've heard that it can be used for starting campfires
The (relativly) cheap big-brand tampons are usually made of synthetic fibers to reduce the production costs.
Also need a spokeswoman on behalf of period underwear.
Sameera ma'am rocks🤘
The yellow one was irritating...

Can virgins use cup?
