Regular use for many years will make vaginal walls wide which naturally will increase chances of other infection, because the vaginal tube in its relaxed form is always lying very narrow,

As a teen , I was suggested to use pads from sofy or whisper but I never feel comfortable in those itchy plastics after discovering some alternative options I chose to try menstrual cup but as a mentality my mom didn't approve it but still I manage to order it . And after using it for 8 months it's been the most comfortable and convenient for me ✨

@@tsss13 Hi nandini , it's not painful at all as our vagina is made up of stretchy tissues . One have to relax and breathe normally while inserting it. It's been 9 months for me , at first I was also skeptical about it but it's not like that . Watch some videos about inserting the cup , and find your comfortable position while inserting and removing it . Btw I'm 18 and cup is really convenient and eco friendly . Once you insert it you'll not feel anything , but make you insert it properly otherwise leak can be a problem but you can put panty liners to be Sure .✨

@@tsss13 actually I tried for 1 whole year to convince my mom for switching to menstrual cup , but after all the tries she didn't approve the way I think at last I gave up and asked myself if I want to change I will , if I'm uncomfortable. With pads then I won't suffer myself . So I gave it a shot with my own savings I bought my first menstrual cup from sanfe and I'm still using it . I can't even thought of going back to pads dude they are terribly annoying . Try giving your mom some advantages of the cup and trY to break the norm about virginity as this only a myth that Virginity exists and if still she didnt approve and convinced . Then just try to order it yourself as you Should be comfortable No one else will share the itchiness with you.

Cloth pad and using cloth is same...then why people said its old fashioned,now we have variety of disinfectants for washing those cloths...and hot water is also use ful,sun drying is also effective,when i have heavy flow i use cloths which are made of cotton...and applying coconut oil on genital can prevent from any bacterial strain,menstrual cup is not for mi its pain full too for my body type...pads are not good for environment ...

I switched to menstrual cup one year ago and i must say the convenience level is out of this world with it... I encourage every woman reading this to give it a try.. I will advice to measure your cervix length first though , and don't loose hope if you can not be comfortable inserting first time... Give your body time to adjust and join guilt free (towards environment ) gang ☺☺☺☺☺

But after using this because no moisture so no rash... Ab itna to banta h😆.. Plus take out collected blood and reinsertion feels ewww when you think.. But it's never bothered me much☺

even after knowing this fact that menstrual cups are best for periods it comes with own problems In India people don't get personal rooms and have just one bathroom and for a woman in India with such conservative mind sets it is very difficult to boil it in kitchen from hiding it with everyone and to air dry it because we still are not very open minded with tampons and cups with gets inserted in the body of a woman
and lot of people think that it breaks your virginity which is a big issue and to even think about such things to use or even to take its name is it self a taboo
where a woman hides there pads in here own house and are not allowed to show to everyone that when you got your periods and just to keep yourself as if you are just a human without periods and has to hide there underwears after washing them and feel so awkward and shy to dry them in sunlight

I agree with all your points. I'm not confident enough to use cups and the biodegradable pads are costly, I've been using stayfree and whisper for years and it has given me rashes, like constant ones. It's uncomfortable but idk what to do!!

I'm feeling Proud that I was a member of "Fit Tuber" Family.
I have been using cup since three years and I really love it as it is so comfortable plus it is economical and environmental friendly. In my case, the best part is, it has reduced my cramps to a large extent (don't know the reason but I have felt the difference) and I have been suggesting women around me to try it atleast once to see it's benefits and in fact two have started using it and they also love it.

I'm using Sirona from last 4 years and it is completely in a working condition, hopefully will last for another 3-4 years. and the cramps thing, I've read that it's because it opens the cervix slightly.

It's about the fact that my pharmacist still packs pads in 3 layers like it's a bomb, I'm told to keep it hidden so my no one ever finds it, I have to stay away from most things in my grandma's house like kitchen, other bathroom, temple etc when I'm using it and i can never talk about it and neither can most women.

When Padman movie was released I watched it my GF, after a month or so I went to a medical store,bought a whole box of pads,it was dark blue coloured stayfree pad, coz I travel in train to my job so with the help of 1 of my male friend I distributed to all Girls in train. Many of them thanked me for it, many who were travelling with family took it and quickly put it into their bag without thanks, eye contact..
After that all the daily passengers of the train call me the real Padman. HaHaHa.
