    Over 25 years of woodwork and stone crafting have giving me a touch for detail and sensibility for brittle situations. I could appreciate this work and technology. Beautiful!

    Bravo! Bravo!! Bravo!!!
    I am so excited to see this work of art made again by men. It is so good that we restore the beauty of the old art. And remember, back in the early days they did not have the tools we have now.

    Amazing replica! This is what should be done to all art that are exposed to the elements (or people): replicas should replace originals and the originals taken to climate-controlled protective museums.

    That kind of casting takes some real passion & dedication. What does it take to get a tour of your shop?

    4 years of work...imagine how much time they done it back then with no modern technology to speed up the work flow..mind boggling when you think about it

    Can someone explain why you need 15 tons refractory material and how its used?

    • @makemyday1477
      @makemyday1477 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      When you cast metal you first make a mold of wax, that is then used to make the mold for the metal casting, that is where the refractory material is used. You see it in the video when they are pouring the molten metal into the molds.

    For 500 years the originals were free to see for all, now you have to pay 18 Euros to see them.
