Hey Poppt1. I liked the format but it would probably be more enjoyable for both the viewers and more profitable for you if you released a video/day for your training arc. This would allow us to be part of the experience with you and wouldn’t require us to sit through a 30+ minute video. I’m happy to do that, but you have to think about your audience as a whole. Most people want a quick break from life through a 15 min video. It’s less of a commitment so they are more likely to watch through the whole video. If you’re interested in how this format would look, then watch Ryan Trayhan’s “Deliver a penny to Mr. Beast challenge series.” In this series we followed him throughout his journey. It gained significant traction in the TH-cam community. Big fan of your channel and the rest of the Underdogs. Keep working hard!

    I loved this video, Poppt.
It wasn’t like every other “Played with *insert character* at a Tournament” video.
This really felt like I was watching a movie.
It showed your entire journey on your way to becoming a good Little Mac and also a lot of lessons about mental mindsets that you learned along the way.
This is by far my favorite one of these videos that you’ve made.
    Keep making great stuff, man.

I underestimated poppt’s genuine passion and love for this game, he treats it just like a sport. This was quite the journey, and I think he actually grew from it. He acknowledged his failures and learned how to improve upon them, not just in game, but in real life as well. Not only did he give it his all in this challenge, he still kept up with his daily life such as chores and dates with Holly. You are a truly honorable man, now go take a 2 month vacation. Love you, brother

Thanks for this vid Jordan! I really enjoyed this format and would love to see more like it. Pretty inspirational at points too. There's a surprising number of similarities between competitive Smash Bros and mental health battles as well, mainly in how it's a mind game against yourself more than anything.

From a long time fan of the channel I really enjoyed this video and kept wanting to keep watching. I like how it's long and the parts of you after the tournament are probably my favorite. I do want to give some feedback only because I want you to grow. I think if your going to go in this direction you might want to explain more about the game/character at the beginning so we understand how it works and the risks and I think you going into more detail about what combos or strategies you used while training could be very cool to see. Thanks for the great video, absolutely loved it and love the way your expanding your channel, keep it up

I'm a long time viewer and I love this direction! My favorites of yours have been the major tourney set analyses and the "can I win a tourney with x character". This has elements of both of those, being actual information and advise along with your own personal growth, but rolled in a great story. I didn't expect it, but using a more traditional sports story structure really worked awesomely!

Hey Poppt :D I loved this video, I seriously think it's one of if not your best video in a long time, maybe ever. The script, the camerawork, editing, and your ability to be insightful and tell a story made this video that's over 30 minutes, feel like it was over in 5. I guess time really does fly when you're having fun! Keep up the great work (still hoping for more JollyGames content, and thank you for liking my previous comment on your "Cheeky Update" video)

I don't ever comment on videos, but I have to say it was pretty obvious how much more attention to detail you've put into this video. I immediately noticed the difference between this tournament video and the others, I loved it. Great work Poppt1!

i loved this video, keep it up. would be very happy to see more of this style of content :) as far as what else you could do you have a whole cast of underrated characters to choose from as well as different games, like competitive pokemon would be quite interesting! or like irl stuff a poppt volleyball video would be cool too, just improving at sport with the mates.

Thank you for that little speech. I'm entering into my first ever Smash tournament next weekend, just a very small local thing, so I think I kinda needed to hear that.
