So the factory ECU targets 103 mph, and if you tell it its on a slightly shorter tire, it will allow a touch more RPM in the top end to get that 103 - but since tire hasn't actually gone down is height, it will actually reach 106? Do I have that right?
You think after installing 12249 muffler and adding 3” piping to the Y pipe(flange) will add the flow to create Horsepower? I hate to spend on a full exhaust and I know a muffler alone won’t increase anything but sound.
I took my exhaust off from the resonator back and it went 2/10s faster in the quarter mile. My point is the weight savings are worth more than the power gain.
At this stage, the resonator had been removed and all the the stock piping was reused. It lasted a week and then I removed the cats but installed a Vibrant resonator. 🫣 Now, I have cut the tip off and painted the rear section of the exhaust with black high temp paint to help it blend in some.
I’ve since added a Vibrant resonator, yanked the anti-freedom devices and it’s perfect. Ran it resonator only today and it sounds like garbage but went 11.97 @ 115 😂

So I have this muffler did you alter anything else replaced stock muffler with the 12249? This is the note I’m looking for
